@Chromeo Can you tell if she actually used a paintbrush or is she finger painting? I've always been curious.
That was actually what I was wondering too, and while it really looks like fingerpainting, the Shaman patch (the "Dorito Man," he's supposed to be the self-titled QAnon Shaman with the bison hat from the Insurrection) actually has some detail that surprised me. The face isn't done with negative space (painting everything but the black,) the face lines are actually painted in with black paint, over white paint. The marks there are clearly done with a paintbrush, so she has to be using at least one brush for "detail" work. If she's using a brush for one part, logic would dictate she's using brushes for the whole thing, though this white paint was clearly thin or running out somehow. The other two patches...???? I don't know. The weird texture on the "SHOW MAPS NO MERCY" patch, compared to the other ones, has something to do with the back being...melted?

I really don't know what's going on here. It feels rubbery and plasticky, and makes this patch look different from all the other patches. Maybe she tried painting the back, and dried it with a hair dryer and it melted the acrylic??? I have no idea.
I looked at the back of the other two to see if anything was weird there, and I found these little orange stains on the back of the Shaman one?

My first thought was "crumbs," like they were on a table with peanut butter crackers or something, but they don't flake off when the material is scraped, so maybe it's a different color of paint? Like she flipped this one over and opened an orange paint and it sputtered? Or rust, like she sat it on something rusty? please god let it not be anything gross....
Yeah, Staph is one of those cows who is more painfully awkward and socially stunted than actively malevolent. She isn’t a hideous narcissist like Jude or actively monstrous like Lou Gags. She’s just a chronic over-sharer who needs to grow up and is obviously incapable of doing it alone. At least she kind of tries with the patches and art? Even the dodgy MJ stuff is more her total inability to to socialize without typing something self-pwning like “ACTUALLY my anus has been weeping for ten days, so who’s the REAL loser, loser?” than anything intentionally creepy IMO. She just needs some equally weird and awkward friends and she’d probably be quite happy. I guess there was no anime club at her high school.
I’ll take my rainbows now.
You may want to dig a little deeper into Staph's backstory. In the most recent past she's been a serial sociopathic cunt to her family and laughs at victims of predators, and further back in the past she's been a predator herself. She preyed on a group of tweens/early teenagers with mental illness and convinced them all she was chanelling the ghost of Michael Jackson, royally fucking with their heads, just for shits and giggles.
Having been in that group of kids, I have weird mixed feelings about Stephanie. When I found this thread and remembered everything after so long, I was shocked and
so angry, but following it and keeping up with her just...absolutely pathetic non-life, I feel bad. I can't forgive her for what she did to us (especially poor Michiie, good lord,) but if she actually acknowledged she fucked up and apologized, it'd be a start, rather than shifting the blame onto non-existent ghosts and pretending it wasn't a big deal anyway.
The good person in me wants to believe there's a chance for Stephanie, y'know, that she could somehow turn around and become a better person, but I would guess it's not very likely. More

than anything else.
what....do they smell like?
oh my god I almost pressed enter just as you made that comment
They smell like nothing, actually. Just...canvas. Even the weird orange stains on the back of the big one smell like nothing.
