If they were actually legally challenged, mistaken of these would likely be tossed out as unconstitutional under current constitutional standards, but there's also a chance they could get affirmed. Either way, the fact that conservatives refuse to engage in lawfare is part of the reason this shit keeps happening
There is some benefit to allowing the experiment to play out, if only to discredit the idea. For example, people have said for decades that we need to fund public schools more to help these disadvantaged groups, but now that's been tried in multiple places for over a decade with absolutely no improvement, there's incontrovertible proof that you can't make the horse drink.

Right, but why does that matter? By doing it you let most of the decision making positions be infiltrated by left-wing ideologues, and when that happens the public's opinion doesn't matter.

Whoever that is, I hope they weren't caught on camera. Also the framing on that Daily Mail article is hilariously slanted.

I wonder if they'll do a Pikachu surprising face if the guy who posted that report was a black man? :story:

All of this is correct, but I'd like to remind that the Democrats are increasingly the party of the professional class and moneyed elite. Thus, there's an increasingly-shallow pool of where the financial backing to fight this stuff is going to come from.

It's really not looking good.
As I said before there is an opportunity. India and other nations took notice how much power silicon valley had after the 2020 election. This resulted in foreign leaders crafting policy to ban or restrict social media giants such as twitter and face book.

What you can do is find the leaders in your area and approach them with a plan to create a locally ran version of social media, paypal processors, credit cards and the like. To get them on board explain how these silicon valley giants are a threat to their power and explain how creating a locally owned version will secure what they have. Also explain it would be good pr. They can proudly say they did something against these giants and are looking out for the little guy.

Only local and non american governments have the ability to create alternative internet structures and now are increasing finding an interest in doing so.

At this point, embracing the suck is kind of hard, especially since the collapse is going so slowly that there's no end in sight, let alone any ashes to see what comes from them.

Never said it would be easy. Best advice I can give, having lived through the crashes of 89, 2001, 2008, is to focus on that which you can directly control, look after yourself, your loved ones.. and let everything else be entertainment.

Only way to keep sane these days.

So they protest the death of Daniel Prude by creating inconvenience for the local community through shutting down a supermarket.

One of their main gripes is food deserts but they never ask why those stores moved in the first place.

The answer is record high shoplifting and the occasional threat of riots.
I think you are looking at this in terms of a protest. As a protest its really counterproductive and ineffective.

As a terrorist attack its almost perfect. You applied an even level of violence that made many people there afraid and more pliable to your demands. You did so in a way that the governing authority ignores or tacitly approves of so they won't stomp on you. And the attack is great propaganda to fire up your supporters.

And then they escalate. In Minecraft.

I like my idea of alternative social media being sponsored by local government better.

Fenty Floyd said:
Fentanyl 11 ng/mL
But why would he have a large amount of fentanyl in his plasma? A good boy like Floyd would never swallow a large quantity of drugs to avoid being arrested for possession with intent to distribute, would he, desu?

Looks like a cocktail OD.
