He once said something about not reporting troons even if the allegations are true, presumably because it's more "dangerous" for the troon to be arrested and exposed online as a child molester than it is for a child to be raped. Too ridiculous to be true but it's Jake we're talking about.

I think it's way too satirical for Jake, he'd be making fun of his actual worldview for it to be joking. When has he ever shown that kind of facetious humor? I can barely recall times he's been sarcastic without it being obvious and non-deliberately on the nose.

This is hilarious and so very autism in its misunderstanding of social proof. "I am not insane, because I was discharged from the mental hospital and I have credentials to prove it" doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Troons need credentials to prove they're women precisely because without them, they aren't.

If I was a lawyer, I would figure out a way to get legislation passed that made threatening a lawsuit publicly on the internet a binding legal contract to first qualified lawyer who responds. Then I could just sit around all day wringing out a couple billable hours from each sped before moving on to the next one.

I don’t think Jake is in a great position when it comes to people who are removed from reality. Given his normal journalistic MO, I also don’t believe he’s ever been on Mumsnet, and is basing his opinion on what he’s seen other hysterical troons tweeting.
Out of curiosity, I paid Mumsnet a visit and honestly, I get the impression that they’re pretty reasonable, articulate their arguments well and are mostly pretty tolerant. It’s just that they’re not going to take any shit from aggressive troons.
Compare them to Jake “hunted like an animal” Alley, I don’t think I’m going to conclude that they’re the crazy ones.
