I didn't fall for any pignosis. I just care for the truth. I personally find it annoying when people get mad at Phil over shit that never happened.
I agree, it is possible PW sent the license to Phil unprompted. He is an idiot. But, to me, the main issue is still everything that happened after Phil was sent the license.
At the very least, Phil's theory makes no sense. PW didn't ask Phil to post his license in the Discord - even Phil's story didn't claim that, so there was no reason to assume he could entrap Phil by doing so.
Phil posted it for no reason other than to mock him among the mods. Phil's story glosses over this, saying he was so confused as to why PW sent it that he posted it. Not even remotely necessary to make his point, and it was done of his own volition.
His only reasonable approach would have been to say that the Discord wasn't supposed to be public, but even then he shouldn't have posted it. Or, as a weaker option, ignored it, since it largely seems to have blown over.
Instead, he blamed PW off the hop for his own actions, and is now concocting conspiracy theories to poorly try to avoid any responsibility while also throwing Anony under the bus for good measure.
He has mentally handicapped viewers, even if PW wasn't one (officially). They're going to do stupid shit. He might not be responsible for the actions of people like Derich, but he should act responsible and at least in line with Twitch's ToS when he personally interacts with them. Even if he wasn't seriously malicious here, he was irresponsible. And contrary to what he claims, he has access to a lot of personal info that this demonstrates he cannot be trusted with. He paints us as monsters for posting publicly available information, but we aren't asking for money, and we never agreed to follow any kind of ethical code of conduct to use a platform.
Consider this in light of the Grumps he recently shit on for grooming. If a young fan (let's call her... Tianna) sends him a racy photo, and Phil posts it to his Discord to ask his mods why she sent it to him, and then blamed her for why he shared it, there'd be no debate as to who was in the wrong, even if she made the first stupid move. There really isn't here, either. Phil broke basic ethical standards for someone in his role, and it's doubly bad because he preaches that he is morally superior to those standards to begin with.
Just because we know Phil is a greasy, untrustworthy, petty scammer... he doesn't get a pass because he acts like that consistently. It also doesn't mean the paypigs don't deserve mockery, too, though.
