Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Absolutely shameful that none of you posted this in response:

Yeah, because men playing women's sports and giving young children puberty blockers is SOOOOOO scientific and what-not.

'Nothing exists except through human consciousness.'

'But the rocks are full of the bones of extinct animals -- mammoths and mastodons and enormous reptiles which lived here long before man was ever heard of.'

'Have you ever seen those bones, Winston? Of course not. Nineteenth-century biologists invented them. Before man there was nothing. After man, if he could come to an end, there would be nothing. Outside man there is nothing.'

'But the whole universe is outside us. Look at the stars! Some of them are a million light-years away. They are out of our reach for ever.'

'What are the stars?' said O'Brien indifferently. 'They are bits of fire a few kilometres away. We could reach them if we wanted to. Or we could blot them out. The earth is the centre of the universe. The sun and the stars go round it.'

'For certain purposes, of course, that is not true. When we navigate the ocean, or when we predict an eclipse, we often find it convenient to assume that the earth goes round the sun and that the stars are millions upon millions of kilometres away. But what of it? Do you suppose it is beyond us to produce a dual system of astronomy? The stars can be near or distant, according as we need them. Do you suppose our mathematicians are unequal to that? Have you forgotten doublethink?'

Sorry for wandering off topic everyone else but this post got my attention and I would like to know more.

I'm trying to wrap my head around what you are saying and you lost me. Haven't humans been making steel and steel derived materials/products for hundreds of years now? I think people would still be able to produce tools. And the component parts of steel literally come out of the ground. What exactly were you trying to suggest? I guess you have a point in regards to more complicated electronics but even then there are people in third world shitholes that manage to make modern technology work with scraps and garbage. More complicated objects and machines may break down, but then again maybe they would not. Certain processes may become impossible without extremely specialized machinery, though on the other hand many complex machines serve to simplify older, more onerous processes that yield the same or similar results.

Are you suggesting that people can't live without their technology anymore if there was some kind of upset? Don't a lot of people already live without a ton of technology and still manage to keep society moving while utilizing advances made in knowledge and associated processes? It seems like you're overstating the necessity of modern technology and damming humanity as eternally dependent on that technology now that the box has been opened.
Sorry if I wasn't clear. I think a example is need for my point. Lets pick a saw, a basic tool for woodworking, only made with steel and wood. The wood part I think anyone could do it. But the steel you need to know you make a good enough steel, how to get the materials to process the raw materials and process the materials to make a saw. See each step it's more difficult to get, in at least first time, to another. In a middle a nowhere it's possible various factors like nobody know how to make a good coal to bake the steel, how see the temperature, etc.
And for the knowledge it's change over what the person/community need/wants, so basic knowledge maybe be forgotten over time or get less accessible. One good example there was a prototype of steam motor in Alexandria, but when it got in English hands trying to change the horse power it's started the the industrial revolution. Or if you want a good farm desert of times of your grandparents but nobody know how to do it and you got only a recipe that isn't an good explanation.

excuse me sir, yellen at the fed says theres 0 chance of free money bringing inflation.

Someone should take that interview and add a laugh track.

There is actually theory behind this - printing money only causes inflation when it gets into people's hands. So long as they can keep channelling the new money into hedge funds, big business and so on then it only causes inflation in assets and the property market. You know, stuff that regular folks don't have a lot of and are increasingly priced out of as their wages don't rise but asset prices do.

The goal is a two-tier monetary system with the pathway from the lower tier (hardwork, investing, generational wealth) shut off.

I'm half tempted to write to an elected official to show my opposition to Vaccine Passports. It won't do anything but it is better than sitting on my ass letting this thing roll over us.

Biden is going to get pushed around in ever foreign policy crisis.

Do it. I sometimes do things like this and (a) it does feel better to have something than just accept it and (b) the inevitable "thank you for writing here is boilerplate that shows I never actually read it and think you're just some weird eccentric for writing" gets me angry enough to actually get more invested in local politics.

Everything starts with doing something. It crystallises intent.

The press coddled Trump? Seriously? I joked about them being on the good shit before, but now I'm wondering if this particular faggaloon was on a 4 year long crackbender. Trump wasn't coddled by the media, and anyone who says he was is living in an alternate reality.
All a matter of perspective.

They think all the media channels should've banded together in some Avengers assemble horseshit moment to throw Trump out of the White House with his pants around his ankles the moment Russiagate became a thing. But they didn't, therefore they "coddled" him.

Meanwhile the media has the audacity to spit out Biden's jizz instead of swallowing, therefore they're trying to "destroy" him.

Once you realize people like that would execute their enemies on a whim and swallow for Clottin'-Eye Joe, then it starts to make more sense.
I'm more than a little suspicious about the fact these people are even real. In fact, I'm sure if you look up their pictures, they'd be something straight out of "thispersondoesntexist(dot)com"

If you still think this dumb bitch is "just" insufferable, instead of fucking evil, you might be retarded.
shitty body language, horrid laugh
jesus christ, who's dick did she suck
>implying it was just one
is she stoned?
You can count on her to laugh when it's most inappropriate to do so.
You would think as a high end prosecutor she would have beaten all these tics out of her. She's a politician double so, you are telling me she doesn't have coaches telling her "don't laugh at the worst times dipshit".
yeah that's what gets me more, is like, I'm not expecting her to be a good person or anything but like, holy shit at least be marginally better at faking not being a total scumbag
A sociopath is unable to empathize with another's pain. A psychopath will enjoy every second of it and laugh in your face about it.

Wait, no, i think a psychopath may have a bit more tact...

God, as if the fucking Leafs being able to shittalk the US right here on this forum wasn't bad enough. Fucking Belarus, a place even I struggle to find on a map, and I can find fucking Monaco, is rather rightfully giving the US shit due to our president and his endless fuckups. I just woke up and I'm already finding a need to drink.

>keep crying about corona
>push for legalizing HIV transmission, a virus that makes corona look like a bitch.
Yeah but like homophobes only worry about dying of AIDs bigot!
He says this like it's a bad ting.
The media sucks Biden off more than Kamala ever could.
Looks like the Hong Kongers are going to be regretting leaving the British Empire even further.

At this rate is there anyways to solve the economic crisis besides getting a shit ton of surplus cash and burning it in front of a shut down Federal Reserve?
Methinks we're going to have to invent new terminology to define our gov't officials. Current definitions aren't accurate enough.
Politiopath?

I heard Joe Rogan interview this mother fucker and I swear to God, you get the impression that he has absolutely no control over his company.
Joe Rogan really knows how to interrogate someone. That's one of his specialties. He really gets involved in the conversation by listening and replying to what the guest says. That's how he works and by doing it he has amassed one of the biggest internet audiences in the world, if not the biggest.

His first interview with Dorsey was remarkably tame. He literally needed to bring Beanie Man in to act as the lord high inquisitor to get anything good out of Dorsey.
