Well there certainly wouldn’t be if there was no suffocation. For instance, if he died because he scarfed down a couple of pills that had an unexpected dose of meth, which along with panicking over being arrested and going to jail for the sixth time in ten or so years, caused his severely diseased heart to go into arrest.
When you graduate junior high we should also discuss the difference between suffocation and asphyxiation.
Suffocation is proper here, actually. Suffocation is the process by which asphyxia occurs.

No. Why would that surprise anyone?

No matter what a piece of crap of a person the cop is actually killing a cop murdering someone is called murder. Putting the cop part in front of it does not make it not murder. So no not surprise if he ends up guilty.

Probably the other way around I will be surprised if he gets off with a slap on the wrist. At this point I doubt it. If he gets off easy it will be like Rodney King all over again. In fact it kind of already was. Why repeat history?

But hey who the fuck knows. Is the only answer.

Boy were they paid off. I cannot imagine what I would have to do to get that much money.

Damn that is a long time. 4 weeks? It seems so long I cannot imagine court taking a lot of time like you know the OJ Simpson trial was only like years upon years.

Jesus 4 weeks? Its like so unfair like Chauvin will have to wait practically the rest of his life just to get through trial.

How would there be evidence of suffocation? Suffocation just means a person cannot get air. Usually the only way to prove suffocation deaths are by marks on a persons body scratches or bruises but certainly not a crushed trachea. But on the other hand a knee on a persons neck pushing them onto concrete would leave pretty much no evidence at all.

Oh yeah except the dozens of witnesses and videos all the testimony and the ambulance showing up and the medic telling Chauvin to go ahead and remove his knee because Floyd was already dead and could not be suffocated any more so it was useless. Except all that. Not sure if that is important.

But yeah it might be?
>pops 10000 fentanyl
>dies
>but it was the cops fault
oog booga bix nood he was a goo boi he dindu nuffin he jus needed dem programs

I'd disagree with Barnes. The man huffs his own farts -hard-. He has a good mind and has done good work, but he also has a massive ego problem that prevents him seeing past his own biases.
He is pretty smert and is very independent, much more interesting than other law people who just repeat talking points.

Asphyxia can be caused by methods other than suffocation; for instance, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, polio, drowning, burking and peine forte et dure.
I'm speaking from a medico-legal perspective here.

I saw you said you live in Minneapolis?
If you were Chauvin would you rather the jury be white shitlibs or blacks? Trying to assess how pozzed the place is I suppose.
The city paid out 27 million to the dead man's family before any verdict was reached. That should tell you right there.

if they could get me a jury full of asians and beaners id prefer that. minneapolis is half 13% criminals and half soy latte sipping soybois with hillary clinton bumper stickers. least the asians and mexicans probably also hate the dindus.

For all their activism, the zoomers on TikTok aren't paying much attention. Seeing more excuses being made not to watch it.

- She has a nice voice. Could see her as a VA.
- Can she not see the irony in talking about biases?
- White people are Floyd's biggest supporters, why bash them? Ah, who cares. Whites love being treated like shit in their own home.

Hope she doesn't lose the keys.
If Chauvin isn't given ultra-death via rape and sodomy, she's going to be nothing but a smear on the pavement. We've all seen how blacks treat asians on TV lately.

Can any lawfags here explain to me how the prosecution is allowed to trot out dozens of "eyewitnesses" to the same event that's on video from every possible angle? Are they testifying to something that was not seen on video or is it just gonna be an endless parade of "omg i was so shocked it was horrible to watch"
Not in the USA but in a country with a common law system like the USA at a state level (except LA, wierdos that they are).

They can do this, if they couldn't they'd not be allowed to. But it's rank tokenism and trying to influence the Jury by bamboozling them with feels.

Personally, seeing that scum sucking piece of shit, who fathered five kids, was only allowed contact with, and supporting one, who had a rap sheet longer than my legs, die on a pavement was one of the highlights of 2020 for me. It's part of the reason the Jury was handpicked to be a bunch of simple minded emotive spastics, because most people on learning what fenty boy did to people through his life, that I've spoken to of it, don't feel much sadness at his passing.

The testimony of these witnesses adds nothing substantial, just "OMG MY FEELZ WAS BUSTED SEW HARD GUISE!!"

Ostensibly, bringing in witnesses has to be related to the charges itself. That being said, it's easy to fudge the lines. For these ones, it's about providing context that the videos might not provide. New angles, different perspectives.

How come chauvin only murders people who are overdosing on fentanyl, with a heart condition, while on a dozen other substances? weird...

Chicom agent probably. Just continuing the Soviet strategy of amplifying racial division to destabilize USA.

Obviously not directly relevant because he's very dead, but I'd recommend anything I've ever watched by Vincent Bugliosi for info on courtroom strategies. Successfully prosecuted 105/106 cases, including Charles Manson, and made a goddamn 7 hour documentary going blow-by-blow on how the OJ Simpson prosecutors failed [pt1] [pt2].

I thought she came off better than Miss Dispatcher who has never been a first responder, Miss Gas Station Attendant who obviously would rather be anywhere else, or any of the four minors who talked about how sad it all made them.
Have to disagree with this. The dispatcher was a very credible witness by virtue of answering questions openly and factually, even if what she witnessed was limited. By contrast, fatty was clearly defensive and cagey, and the defense has barely even begun to impeach. I'm sure prosecution will have a word with her, but will she be able to muzzle her snarl? X

Recently 2 teenage black girls killed a middle-eastern Ubereats driver in DC. None of the news sites brings up color under the pretense that they're minors AND haven't been convicted so their anonymity should be protected.

But people like Nicholas Sandman and Kenosha Kyle will have their names and faces plastered all over TV.

Don't forget George Floyd's heart that was in a very bad condition.
"... with 75% proximal and 75% mid narrowing of the left anterior descending coronary artery; 75% blahblahblah
... and 90% proximal narrowing of the right coronary artery"

The cops asked George Floyd if he was onto something. George said he wasn't. But because he kept acting weird they decided to call an ambulance.
George also kept resisting and resisting his arrest so the cops decided to put him on the ground and sit on him. Just as their training manual told them
to do.
Here's a part from the transcript. What a retard:

George Floyd also tried to hide 42$ in counterfeit bills from the cops.
Imo this also needs to get much more attention and it's possible linked to the night club where both George and Derek worked.
(the owner is a Mexican woman with possible ties to some Mexican cartels, involved in drugs trade and counterfeit bills. )

The guy who sat next to George Floyd in the car is Maurice Lester.
Maurice is a long time friend and traveled with George from Houston to Minneapolis to make a 'new start'

David Abedon Pinney also worked in the night club with George and Derek.
He has ties to some Mexican cartels. He said that George and Derek clashed during work. A few weeks later he would redact that statement.
