Obviously not directly relevant because he's very dead, but I'd recommend anything I've ever watched by Vincent Bugliosi for info on courtroom strategies. Successfully prosecuted 105/106 cases, including Charles Manson, and made a goddamn 7 hour documentary going blow-by-blow on how the OJ Simpson prosecutors failed [pt1] [pt2].

Have to disagree with this. The dispatcher was a very credible witness by virtue of answering questions openly and factually, even if what she witnessed was limited. By contrast, fatty was clearly defensive and cagey, and the defense has barely even begun to impeach. I'm sure prosecution will have a word with her, but will she be able to muzzle her snarl? X
Im certain she is going to get a little reminder on how to behave (or rather another one after the Judge tried that already), but what we saw seems to be her stress response that requires a certain amount of self-control to change in any meaningful way. Dry theory in a positive environment is one thing, actual application of that theory when the exact "big 'ol meanie" that shes used to blocking instantly on twitter cannot be removed with a tap of your finger is another.
So i would not be surprised if we get episode 2 of "this middle aged woman behaves like a 16 year old that just got grounded by her mom." eye-rolling included,
as soon as the defense starts to apply pressure again. That lawyer seems to be able to tell she ain't no hardboiled egg and is most likely going to double down on the pressure.

After all, they would somehow need to drill into her that:
A) You have to respect both of these ebil vile old white men as an authority and respect them.
B) You have to be honest, even if its uncomfortable and you would rather lie.
And both of that during severe stress. I just dont see it happening.

This is also why its just so laughable that she said she stays cool under pressure when working.
This woman cannot handle stress at all, presumably because of the same lack of self-control that also saw her obtain her "Heroic-life-saver" bodytype.
Also, while im at it, i think my freudian-pseudoscience has led me to understand why shes wearing the uniform as well. (that seems inappropriate to wear off-duty).
Gives her some desperately needed confidence so she wont melt in the first 20 seconds after the questions start.

The only question left in my mind is why anybody thought bringing her into this would be a good idea. I would assume that picking more stoic witnesses is preferable because they make for harder targets to crack for the opposition. After all, the witness going into the panicked "uuuhhh i really dont want to be here omg!" mindset seems like a worst case to me. At that point they will fall for even basic semantic tricks your average lawyer can throw around.

Not to mention that even the crocodile tears loose their magic when they come from an unlikeable hag with the attitude of a teenager.

Domestic assault convictions, what a classy gentleman.

I never understand how people with attitude work in public service.

Blind worship is the ultimate cringe fest.
Its a petty God complex that infects low level healthcare workers including emts. They get really mad they don't get paid like a neurosurgeon because they took some classes and have power over life and death. Gives them a huge attitude and chip on their shoulder. See it all the time with nurses.

Can I get one of you autist to volunteer to have a 200lb dude knee you in the throat and film it?

There was never a knee in his throat so it's not really clear to me why you ask for this.

Anyway, here's a vid of a knee on the neck. At one point he even puts his full weight of 115kg (253.5lbs) in his neck and nothing happens.
So you can see this procedure is completely harmless.

I'm not gonna say it's a pleasant feeling but it won't cause any permanent injuries.

I'm not American and I'm not a legal expert - so feel free to disagree.

I think the prosecution have a difficult job to do here in terms of proving guilt. They've got to prove that but for the knee George Floyd would have lived - and given the fact he was having breathing difficulties prior to being placed on the ground, and that he had covid and was high on fentynl which is known for causing breathing difficulties, and that he had a history of overdosing on opioids, how can you prove that?

Now maybe they can do that, but do far I've just seen witnesses pulling at heart strings - am I missing something here?

Hmm even after adding filler cutscenes, an intro and an outro.... this video was just 3 mins long..... hmmmmm
And these slavidiots couldn't even recreate the scene properly. Esteemed law enforcement officer chauvin's right knee was on the left hand of mr. floyd
Are there any mugshots of Floyd on the web? Or at least some very unflattering pics?
There's a pornographic video of him out there if it counts

It has to do with cyclic seasons. When you have a limited growing season and then harsh winters where there is no/scarce food, the only way to survive is to be an effective planner with regards to harvests and agriculture. This is why the Europeans developed very strong 'long time' preference at the genetic and civilization level.

African biomes don't have that kind of regular, harsh variability so there never was a need to think beyond the immediate.

This is why, in general, they cannot think further ahead than fighting the cops right then. The realization that even if they escape they will eventually be caught and get even more prison time never crosses near their mind.
There were farming cultures in Africa like the Bantu people. The problem is that grains north from the Northern Tropic can't grow south of it, which limited the spread of farming crops after they were "figured out" in the Fertile Crescent. Also you have malaria which gets worse the bigger the population is (and you need many people for subsistence farming) and those fucking elephants who barge in and eat your fucking crops whenever they feel like it.

Africa would fix itself in a few centuries if various Bono do-gooders and crazy islamists could stop messing around there. IMO equating Africans with African Americans is stupid, those are 2 different cultures and genetic stocks at the moment.

You're partially right. It would be more accurate to state that the genetic stock of the blacks in America are that of only a few Western African countries. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't most of them descended from people from Ghana? So every other country in Africa would be different to them based on that, but the Ghana people would probably still be genetically similar.
