Mentally I felt like I was swimming through molasses and I felt slightly itchy and sick to my stomach. Nothing fun there. Some people are super into those drugs, but that is not me. I've never done heroin or opium.

Something about the defense attorney alleging that Floyd took an accidental speedball spoke to me. Especially the idea that he appeared to the cops like he was on PCP or meth but he was really a junkie suffering a fatal overdose. Both are pathetic, but I can see how all of a sudden the chemistry in his brain sent him onto a whole crazy tangent that he was not prepared for.
