What got me is the fact that he didnt even congratulate, much less acknowledge, the fact that the man's disabled son was making progress in his verbal development (a feat for young ASD kids). Of course Ollie had to swoop down and make it all about him and his "foreign memories."Remember when we used to have fun? Oh by the way, the person you knew is dead, and you are talking to a stranger with his memories."
Most people in the field perfer the term "actor," including women. I remeber a bit over a decade ago there was a strong push to have everyone be recognized as an actor, regardless of sex, because it was meant to be inclusive.Something I've seen him do more than once now is explicitly refer to himself as an "actress" and now "villainess". Not that women don't refer to themselves as actresses as opposed to just using the word "actor", but it seems like he's making a concerted effort to refer to himself using these superfluous female variations of existing words as if womanhood is a costume that he's decided to put on.
Of course Oliver will leap at any chance to remind you that he's a lay-dee by adding a feminine suffix to every word he uses. He's more Emily Howard than Contra is!
For the same perverted reasons which compelled him to be a troon. But I thought Bond Villanesses were problematic because they are sexist, objectified puppets of the patriarchy. Why does Oliver want to be an object?
Well if it was his passion, he wasn't very good at it. Not a good classical performer, Shakespearean, or method actor. Watch the BBC interview. As opposed to acting, it looked like hes performing melodramtic theatre warm-ups through his overexaggerated indignation. On a base level, I do think Thorn's real passion is acting. You can see it if you watch any of Thorn's videos, particularly the ones where he talks about his personal life.
He's always had a very high school thespian vibe. It's just got creepier as a troon tho.
Well that was yet another example of him centering himself in his own narratives. The hysterical (fake, no tears) “crying” about Aunt Abbie was so over the top. Occasionally I feel guilty for shit-talking this guy so much but honestly and objectively narcissism and manipulation literally emanate off of him.
In the sob story, he turns to his brother to suggest that maybe he, as an adult male crossdressing fetishist, should refrain from walking up to a preschool full of toddlers and young children.
Instead of reacting like it was a perfectly reasonable decision, he starts crying because he had to deny his little niece a chance to see her Uncle Ollie lumbering down the street in tights and heels while crooning at her in falsetto.
