How many mistral can there be before someone puts a halt to the whole thing? I'm pretty certain that's where this is heading, mistral after mistral. In the 12 there is almost guaranteed to be at least 1 person from each of the polarised extremes on this shit who wouldn't change one way or another even if there was irrefutable proof.
As far as I know, until a judge says it can't. I believe it's the judge who determines if a case can be tried a second time. I could be wrong on this though.

does switching a state's witness to the defense team happen often?
Lol no

I think if this ends in a hung jury and they do a re trial and it again ends in a hung jury. I think at that point the State might drop most of the charges and try at the bare min of manslaughter. They cannot keep doing re trials and wasting money if they are unable to get any conviction.

I haven't been watching much today but I went back to listen to the cross on this EMT and found the part where she vigorously agreed that a loud crowd is very distracting and can interfere with a proper assessment of a patient and that crowds have attacked EMS before.

She is the complete inverse of the first EMT, and is it any coincidence that she also happens to be thinner and cuter?

I don't know how frequently it is but their witness list starts with "any and all witnesses identified on the state's witness list".

This is a usual insertion just in case you need it.

It's almost never actually used though. Since cross examination usually is more than sufficient.
