I hate it when they keep a good white man down.

Saliva confirmed. Drug consumption confirmed.
Prosecution can't stop owngoaling.

And the fact that there was blood from Floyd's mouth all over the back of the car, proving that he hurt himself and it wasn't from Chauvin smacking those lips into the ground during a takedown.

Should I start collecting money from people I've wagered with about the outcome of the trial now? I am worried about approaching people who are in a frothing rage after Chauvin is aquitted.

At this point, I fully expect the Prosecution's closing remarks to be "look, if you don't vote guilty, Antifa will burn your houses down. The NY Times has already published everything short of your actual names and we allowed people to take your pictures IN THE COURTROOM and then just "asked them nicely" to delete them."

That's the ONLY way I can see a conviction at this point: jury intimidation

Interested in making any Kiwi bets? I'm sure you can get some takers.

I was listening to Beanie Man and he made a pretty interesting point. Is the reason why the prosecution seems like they're so shit right now cause they want to intentionally throw the case? Minneapolis is apparently going through a shortage of cops right now for obvious reasons. Maybe they know if Chauvin gets clapped on these charges, even more cops are gonna ditch?

I know that if I was a cop and haven't left yet, seeing my own department toss me under the tracks over shit they trained me to do would be the last straw. Once the verdict is declared, win or lose, it's gonna be summer of love all over again. How confident are the politicians and ruling class in Minneapolis that their antifa attack dogs aren't gonna turn on them once they finish razing the average citizens?

If the cops get fucked again, maybe they'll feel like it's not their problem once the gilloutines are being set up outside some politician's backyard with the masses baying for blood.

No. I mean, I will joke about that, but I don't actually believe it simply because of Hanlon's Razor.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

I think the prosecution is just that stupid.

And now "ABC News" is trying to portray George Floyd as a poor victim of the "opioid epidemic", including bringing up the testimony of his girlfriend. That's right, Ladies and Gentlemen, it's not the fault of the drug addict, it's those evil pharmaceutical corporations! No, the drug pushers are also innocent.
TO BE FAIR, that's literally the reason why I refuse to take the COVID vaccine. I'd rather get COVID than trust Pfizer.

Wouldn't it be China's fault? Opioids are produced on a mass scale there.

The madmen are doing it. They're suggesting it's cruel and emotionless of the defence to bring up Floyd's drug abuse as a reason why "we shouldn't care as much about his death". That's it - back to the steampunk opera. Have a good day, my fearless friends.

Of the 7 commentators on HLN, 2 of them are high on copium and the rest of them are like "How could the MPD fuck up this badly?" And most of them have been stanning for the prosecution the whole time.

Shit the defense didn't even question the forensics chick. I guess they thought the prosecution made all their points for them.

Hmm I suppose that's true, it's interesting to think about but judging from how fast the city council voted to defund their police department in the midst of some of the worst riots in decades, they don't seem that smart.
