I've never watched an episode or read a single chapter, but the things I'm hearing are making me cringe

Fullmetal Alchemist was pretty epic and had a great ending. Maybe the best ending in Shonen. It feels mandatory at this point to end a modern day big epic franchise on a massively disappointing note. Is there any franchise on the scale of GoT or AoT that will be allowed to end on a strong note? Or does writing something on that scale eventually rob you of your sanity?
FMA is great, but it ended over a decade ago, so I wouldn't say it counts.Fullmetal Alchemist was pretty epic and had a great ending. Maybe the best ending in Shonen.
Plus, the author somehow made beating a homunculus who became a god and could create the power of the sun in his hand make complete and total sense.
Fuck bros. I miss Hiromu Arakawa.
THE CHAD KANEKI VS THE VIRGIN EREN
If America makes a live action AOT, they should cast this man for Eren
I mean, the problem is that these series are being created and built up to multimedia empires without having an ending planned, something you absolutely need from the start. It’s nearly impossible to write a satisfying ending by the seat of your pants; even if the ending you end up with over the development of the story ends up different than the one planned, it will still be more satisfying because you had a goal for the series in the first place. It feels mandatory at this point to end a modern day big epic franchise on a massively disappointing note. So the revenge is a self-fulfilling prophecy....Eren could control the flow of time but was SO ASSBLASTED BY NOT GETTING HIS DICK WET HE KILLED HIS OWN MOM.
can you really be either one if the woman you're pining for actually loved you and you pushed her away because you were going to do some straight demon shit on 80% of the world for the sake of her and all your friendsI’d compare Eren to a fusion between Elliot and Chris Chan
Avatar The Last Airbender was also planned out from the start. There were revisions on how to get to the end, but the character arcs and ending was pre planned. Meanwhile the sequel series is a good example of what happens when a one season show suddenly has to be expanded to three.I mean, the problem is that these series are being created and built up to multimedia empires without having an ending planned, something you absolutely need from the start. FMA was brought up, and I would bet money she had a good idea from the start where the end of her story would go from the start, if it’s not necessarily where it ended up. In retrospect, Eren dying at the start was absolutely as far as this series was planned, and all it could do was pilfer momentum from a hundred chapters prior.
Game of Thrones is another perfect example of that exact thing; the ending of the first book is great and is a culmination of the character arcs that actually mattered while also serving the story itself. Then everyone meanders about for a phone-books worth of paper.Avatar The Last Airbender was also planned out from the start. First impression is that it's perfectly in character. I don't trust this guy to have had more than a few boners his entire life between being beaten up by town bullies,He even had him say something awkward as hell about the woman he loved before he died lol
It always had the better OST, anyway.
I told you people it was birds. All along every time something plot important happened and a bird flies by it wasn't symbolism the bird literally did it. It was birds. BIRDS.So do the people who guessed the Rumbling would be stopped by birds in the poll get any prizes?
