Nelson completely failed or refused to address the validity of those numbers and the implications of how relatively not deadly the amount of fent in Floyd's body was. Believe anything you want on this topic personally but it feels like the defense is not going to press that angle as hard as most of us expected. This is not a loss yet but it's pretty big.
what credible authority does he (a lawyer) have to contradict a trained medical professional when it comes to expertise in the field? he can't do shit here either way. his only real option to do that is to bring his own expert witness and have that one do it for him.

Nigga looks like Lukashenko.

I'm having hard time imagining the kind of expert that would be willing to just outright contradict those studies but you're not wrong. We'll see what he tries to pull when he gets to summon his dudes.

Nelson said on the first day his argument was that Floyd died of a heart issue and not a fentanyl overdose. It doesn't matter how much fentanyl Floyd had exactly to his argument.

The public has been so heavily propagandized for ~40 years that smoking is epic dangerous and disgusting and should be uber hated that someone saying nah it really isnt that bad gets looked at sideways

I've lived with a smoker. It's not "propaganda" that smoking is disgusting. If you aren't a smoker, it's fucking disgusting. I don't even care how bad for you it is.

When I have to do immersion baths on things I clean to get the black-brown tar/dust/smoke crud out of every electronics fan and air filter in the house, scrub parts with a solvent and a toothbrush, and the interior still *still* stinks of stale cigarettes?

When we have to take the winter sheets out of the closet and wash them before we use them, because the months in storage gave them a yellow tint and a butt-mouth smell?

When we can tell which chair in a room the smoker favors, because there gets to be a brown stain on the ceiling above their chair?

Yeah, it's fucking gross.

The kind that doesn't have ideological blinders on?
