As much as I (and others) miss Vinny, I can only imagine the bombardment of questions he'd be getting, regardless of mods getting on that shit ASAP. I don't think it's a good idea for him to do anything public for a bit, just until this shit gets taken care of or people get bored and move on. Hope he's doing okay, though.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if his first few streams back are emote only.

I hope not, but man, I wouldn't want to see all the stupid ass shit he's going to get when/if he returns.

I thought Mike at least said he was doing alright since the pre-recorded stream, but maybe I imagined that.

Probably not emote-only, but sub-only for the few first streams back is a possibility. Wouldn't shock me if he did something on the Scum channel before coming back to the main one either.

I think he already has chat in follower-only mode. Sub-only mode might be a good idea for the first few return streams. Though he might not want to do that because it'd encourage sub gifting.

I think you're being overly dramatic. I get it that you may think that Vinny really is "a bubble" as Redbard has put it, but come on.
The man's in his 40s, you're making it out like he's more dysfunctional than he really is, because most fresh posters here (and bigger part of his fanbase) has spent years living under the impression that he's a wholesome sexless pepperoni man who wouldn't dare stuffing his salami where it doesn't belong after that one incident in college.

He's more well-adjusted than he looks, he's just a childlike sperg deep down and I'm sure he'll bounce back easier than you think.
Just don't quote this post in case it turns out that he decided to jump off a bridge or something over a few tweets from thots on twitter, then I'd feel real silly for being proven wrong.

I think that's a problem with fanbases of many singers/writers, etc.
People look at the stuff they wrote / sang nearly ten years ago and go "wow he sure do be giving me sad uwu boy vibes, I'm sure he didn't change in these years a tad bit".
Imo you should give the guy some credit, he grew alot since most of these songs and we shouldn't deny him that growth implying that he's a sensitive emo boy or what not.

Let their actions speak for them, rather than their lyrics.

I'm already worried. I knew that his self-esteem was bad but I didn't know it was this bad. If he's feeling this emotionally distraught over a nontroversy I don't want to know what he'll feel after a real controversy hits him. (Not that I could actually see that happening. 10+ years and the only controversy he had was "Vinny has consensual sex with adults sometimes"?)
