I managed to get through ALL of anor lando in the timespan of phil's gameplay between breaks...so fucking sad

and why the fuck is he taking 2 breaks? Realistically, he takes THREE breaks for a what, 7 hour "work" day? And these aren't short breaks either... it's so frustrating how he can say he's busting his ass while doing this shit

What are you on about? Phil is nothing BUT the unexpected: unexpected bills, unexpected taxes, unexpected changes to his wifecat's schedule, his tax guy unexpectedly asking to be paid, people unexpectedly stabbing him in the back, his inputs unexpectedly dropping, the servers unexpectedly lagging, the algorithm unexpectedly putting him in a higher bracket, a whale unexpectedly tipping him $100 after a water break. This is edge of your seat action and you're sitting here bitching? Curve balls every single stream! He's doing everything he can to keep the boat from rocking, but God himself is a detractor and sending the plagues to derail his streams! Bless that man for staying the course.

I love how he says that. Every single time he does someone in his chat laughs at him and more often than not his mods are asleep or too busy masturbating to pictures of farm animals so he has to interrupt his gameplay to ban them himself which he always grouses about like a toddler.

I'm 100% behind anything that inconveniences Phil because sour grapes are delicious.

I think this could be partially why Dave stays indoors so much. We know he's an autistic WeirdBoy about things. Owning a bike means it's going to get stolen by the "darkies". Going to Walmart will make you a target. Etcetera, etcetera. I would bet he thinks the same with being in a car and going out. He probably thinks about how likely you are to get into an accident or be assaulted and genuinely gets into a panic over the possible incident. I'd like to believe Dave isn't so retarded that he doesn't know that a major health emergency will likely end with him either back at his parent's house or swallowing a bullet.

So what's the general consensus on Phil's financial state?
We all know he uses poverty as an excuse to not have to do things, and has never personally experienced such struggles as he doesn't understand that he can't cry poor and then brag about eating out at a buffet.
Yet at the same time, we know he's a compulsive spender that intrinsically HAS to spend outside of his means. His autism regarding Walmart is something else, I can't even tell if he was telling the truth or just came up with some wild defense as to why he shouldn't have to go to a cheaper alternative to where he normally spends. Like that picnic rant.
Lately with the Tips Goal being consistently hit, Phil has been having a harder and harder time trying to justify his begging. Yet there's still a part of me that thinks "You know, maybe Phil really did throw all his money away and he actually isn't in a good spot."
He certainly isn't as wealthy as he should be.

He's not lying when he says the money is gone, the lie comes in when he tries to explain how ~$1500 vanished before his anniversary within the time span of a week. I'm bad with money and even I can't liquidate that much money in such a short amount of time.

It's a save scum tactic to never overwrite your old save files in case you fuck up a series of things and want to go back to a particular state at any time.

It's also a tactic for creating rollbacks in case the game you're playing corrupts its save files or (more likely) you encounter a game-breaking bug or other hard stop on progression that you may need to work around several hours back.

I'd say that this is a prudent thing to do especially on a PC where saving is very fast and can be done with a macro but this is Phil, who is not playing on a PC, is not prudent, and is very definitely not a stranger to taking his ball and going home if things don't go his way, so I'm going to chalk this up to laziness or being a retard, as others already have.

When's the last new release he's purchased aside from the cheap GnG Resurrection? He seems to be playing old fart cheap games and I thought he was all about the new release day 1 views.

His schedule has been almost the same 4-5 games for months now. Some variety streamer. Like, bruh, no one wants to see you do penne wagers on "I spawn I die" of Bitching Duty three times a week. He wagequit games faster than this since it got fuckin' nothing compared to others three times in a row.
