Most cops are not sociopaths that want to kill people.

But Chauvin is definitely damaged goods and a terrible person.

Don't talk to me or my sons ever again.

Is anyone else still desparately confused over what is going on? So like, there's this report which would be damning to the asphyxiation narrative, I get that much. But the prosecution wanted it to be brought up? Why? Wouldn't it destroy their main claim which is 'Floyd died cause knee neck?'" Was it just to counter the "Floyd died cause of the car fumes" thing? But also someone said that it wouldn't even counter that to begin with? If this is a crucial piece of evidence to either side why is it banned? Because they wouldn't have time to prepare for it? And if so why is that such a big deal?

Please help, I think I'm retarded or something cause I was easily following the case up until this shit.
The defense had rested, it could provide nothing else. Springing it on them let the prosecution use it for maximum effect while the defense couldn't do jack shit. Or it would, if it had been allowed in.

it makes more sense if you assume the prosecution doesnt know what it's doing and was so desperate to debunk that little bit of based rhodesian's testimony they brought back potato nigger who inadvertently contradicted himself and the brunt of their main argument

Not only that, their medical expert was on a plane to South America at the time. So even if the judge said "ok we're undoing your rest, you can bring your expert back or call additional witnesses to counter this" they couldn't. Edit: And I'm 99% sure the prosecution knew that, the scummy fucks.

98% oxygen levels is absolutely devastating to the "he choked that poor pavement ape to death" narrative. Especially if Nelson hammers it home Monday.

Chauvin walks, then cops accidentally find CP on his desktop, a stash of meth under his bed and a fake 20$ bill.
If he walks the Feds will step in and prosecute him for civil rights violations. Oh and they'd also make sure he'd be denied bail. See the Capitol protestors spending months in solitary on trespassing charges that don't carry custodial sentences even if they're found guilty. The process is the punishment.

There's zero chance of the Biden administration allowing this to slide.

The only hope for Chauvin is a hung jury and a mistrial. I think the chances of that are pretty remote. There will be riots going on in the city while the jury is deliberating, every single one of them will be very aware of what faces them should they not find him guilty of something. I think he'll be convicted of manslaughter, there will be a nationwide chimp out (but not as bad as if he'd been allowed to walk) and the Feds will step in and throw the book at him.

If by some miracle he does walk on these charges and the Fed prosecution he'll face a lifetime of looking over his shoulder with no prospect of employment or anything remotely resembling a normal life. The poor bastard, and all because some retard decided to swallow his stash.

I've had it clarified for me since I was posting before and I think I understand now
* When GF was in the ambulance he had a pulse oximeter attached, it read 98% O2 saturation. This can misread CO as O2 by the method it uses (a laser checking colour of the blood), so if he had had CO poisoning this would be a bad way to deboonk it
* When GF arrived at the hospital they took arterial blood gas routinely. This was tested for everything at this point
* The blood O2 level from that was requested by (the ME? the physician attending?), and at that point THAT statistic from it was entered automatically into his medical file
* Yesterday Dr. Baker realised there was also a test done to that same blood for CO which the result of was stored separately for some reason, and he pulled it up and sent it to prosecution (slight X to doubt but that's their story)
* Dr. Fowler had asked for this test to be run back in February, so now that they released they had technically had it all along they were forced to try to submit it because of risking a Brady violation(?). This was denied
* At the same time they released that because they had the O2 levels of his arterial blood (also 98%) they could invert the proportion and argue that the maximum the CO could have been was 2%
* Defense ALSO had this O2 result the whole time, they just didn't think of applying it the same way, so Tobin was actually allowed to talk about it and only excluded from mentioning the CO result
For some reason the judge and Nelson were discussing it pre-trial like they were going to be discussing the initial reading from the pulse oximeter, Maybe they didn't realise or had forgotten the existence of half of the blood gas work, Nelson did mention he was sleep deprived. I'm not sure if this is why they had the sidebar after the first mention of drawing blood. I hope this makes sense, it's a little convoluted

Well it's not uncommon here for judges to get sanctions if they pull obviously dumb shit. But then we don't do stupid stuff like elect our judges or let politicians appoint them.
It has nothing to do with how they are chosen, it's the fact that other judges are the ones who decide if something needs a sanction and what sanction applies.
The near top level sanction is 'you bad, don't do again.'

Cell Phones are fine.

The problem was when they decided to add camera/video features onto them

they say "oh they're great they've allowed us to expose police brutality where-ever it is found" but 99% of the time what they've really done is allowed some non or exaggerated incident to be taken completely out of context which gives an excuse for chimpouts and widespread chaos and violence

Well, this prosecution tactic would make sense if they're operating under the assumption that the jury is literally retarded.
Given the fact that they've been stacking it with 85-IQ-Americans, that might just be the case.

Muddy the water on anything related to facts beyond recognition, and parade a bunch of crying witnesses through the court, lamenting that this gud boy who dindu nuffin can't breef no good anymore.

What annoys me is that the amount of cope on all sides is akin to that of flat earthers. I'm not talking about Nelson being fanfictioned either into a 4D chess player or a racist helping a cop get away with murder, but about the the lack of interest in finding out what actually happened in favour of a fanatical focus on satisfying some emotional stimulus or whatever it is that people get out of it by believing in some grand conspiracy.
Fun Factoid: Even in your false hologram you're a crybaby loser.
even in objective reality youre a crybaby loser.png

And that's why you should never be within 500 square yards of a damned jury trial you unbelievable fuckstick jesus do you hear yourselves right now
Since we are dealing with redditors, thought I would do the reddit thing and look at post history.

Soylent and spending money on a shitty video game. Could you not be a walking soyboy/consoomer meme for 1 second. Also, bit of faith in the fact that he got downvoted to hell for that retarded comment.

It's some basic demoralization shit. Cell video is just another poor little fact to be clipped up, edited out, and generally tortured until it can mean anything, until the bugmen won't be able to believe the unadulterated version when they actually see it.

To wit: They picked the one cell phone video footage out of 20+ ones that made it look like Chauvin had his knee on the druggy thug's neck, when just about every other one would have shown that hey very obviously didn't.

I know people have answered some of this, but in addition this data was taken a while after CPR and stuff started. So just like it’s wrong to say “Floyd had traumatic rib and lung bruising” it would be wrong to say “Floyd had ideal blood oxygenation levels” as that had nothing to do with Chauvin or his actions

The defense using this that CO stays in the blood for quite a long time. While it does, I’m not sure about the metrics use to measure the level, and the whole danger of monoxide is that it’s basically identical to OO to hemoglobin

judicial systems for what its worth are still fairly robust as well. they're some of the few non-compromised institutions left in clown world. i dont share the pessimism of the people here even though i understand it.
Uhh what?

We are literally seeing it be turned into an extension of a mob's lynching impulse 2 years ago the woman who deeper her Taser and a pistol would have been maybe fired and that's it. Now see almost certainly going to be convinced of 2nd degree manslaughter. The derpy Capitol "visitors" are all going to get multi year prison terms for making a bunch of spineless politicians piss themselves.

Other side of the coin is the literal abdication of responsibility of leftist DAs all over the country. ANTIFA fucks getting no chargers, no bail, no consequences. It's now literally legal to shoplifting up to $1000-$1500 of goods in most of the west coast...... DAs there have explicitly state this again and again, under $X limits no prosection.

Shit, it's becoming a gigantic joke right I'm front of us.

the same judicial system that forced abortion and gay marriage on america?
the same judicial system that struck down californians decision to roll back welfare to illegals?
the same judicial system that allows shit like willie horton to happen on the regular, for DECADES now?

This is the same judicial system that wouldn't provide one of the passengers immunity on drug charges so they could testify against floyd.

Abdication of responsibility? They are acting EXACTLY as George Soros paid them to act. He literally was behind fundraising for each and every one of the DAs and AGs in question.

It's not magic. It's not spontaneous fuckery. It's an organized effort to allow their terrorist blackshirts to be allowed to riot while anyone else eats shit. It's demoralization, a known commie tactic.

Hell, the AG in the Chauvin trial is best known for literally posing with one of the Antifa books. In a sane society, he'd be investigated for terrorist ties and arrested.
