I seriously can not take this story at face value without some actual names and evidence. People need to get out of the mindset that someone faking a rape story is “beyond the pale” and that no one could ever stoop to that level. Also, it sure feels like the most coincidental of coincidences that she’s kept this story hidden for years only to spill it when her popularity is in jeopardy, and that this sudden revelation of her being a rape victim retroactively makes Doug Walker look even worse for forcing her to do a joke related to rape. Going off of some of the comments made here, it sounds like she received messages telling her to kill herself in response to tweets she made about Zack Snyder. I don’t doubt that this happened and I also don’t doubt that it must be a very unpleasant thing to receive, but I think this is one of those moments that Lindsay and people like her just need to accept the Internet discourse we have. If you’re a somewhat popular public figure and you comment on topics that are controversial, you are going to receive nasty messages from randos. I don’t understand how this can still be played for public sympathy unless it somehow leads to IRL stalking, which is rarely the case.

i havent met very many rape/abuse victims (that i know of) but the ones i did meet were extremely shy, quiet and fearful in social situations, and got visibly uncomfortable at even the slightest hint of a lewd or suggestive joke. basically their behavior was the absolute polar opposite of what you see from attention seeking internet 'influencer' girls.

Whether she was really raped is irrelevant. Most victims never come out or report. The bullshit of "most rape victims i know", most rape victims just don't tell you, you dumb fuck. Most rape victims act like your average women because guess what, the average woman has a pretty good chance of being a rape victim.
