What about all the meth and fentanyl in his body? Or his fucked up lungs and heart?
Why, I'd imagine that eating pills like they were charcuterie table cheese cubes while being prone to heart disease and having COVID-19 might make asphyxia a lot easier to induce.
I'll be frank with you, one could have caused Floyd to succumb to total anoxia by pinching his wrist to check his pulse.

The Second Amendment protects an individual right, which is a fundamental right, and impliedly, restrictions on it are subject to strict scrutiny. A state cannot simply ban guns entirely. It has to justify it. The restriction must concern a compelling government interest (public safety generally counts), but it must be narrowly tailored to that goal. They can't just cite public safety and then do something ridiculous.

They are the two biggest gun rights cases in the history of the Supreme Court. The reason there are two of them basically saying the same thing is Heller was in D.C., which isn't technically a state, but almost a colony of the federal government. McDonald was in Chicago, and reiterated Heller's finding but applied it to the States as well.
Upon reading up on it and it does appear to be incredibly important case no wonder Iowa is insisting on having the wording in their state constitution.

Hell, I think more people in the US should join Gun Owners of America and Firearms Policy Coalition because they've done more to protect gun rights and the 2nd Amendment than the NRA.
Just about the only Reason to join the NRA (other than the free pocket knives and flashlights) is that if you are involved in a self defense shooting or other lawful gun use and get arrested you can ask them for Pro Bono Legal representation and there's a chance they'll help if the case will advance gun rights.

Impliedly? IMPLIEDLY? Fuck these fucking lawyers and their dumbass fucking legalese. It’s implicitly. IMPLICITLY. I don’t care which one came first anymore, impliedly is the dumbest fucking word I have ever seen.

When is this trial over?
Closing arguments are first thing Monday morning, so Jury will be sequestered and deliberate as soon as they're over. Verdict is expected to be announced anywhere from Tuesday to Friday. If deliberations are short and closing arguments wrap up by noon then MAYBE we could have a verdict by Monday afternoon, but I seriously doubt that will be the case.

I'm hoping for a mistrial or a not guilty verdict. Either way, it was nice knowing you Minneapolis. Godspeed jury.

The meth levels consistent with your average medical dose and the fent levels that are below the average of those arrested for DUI using fent?
Medical dose? Desoxyn doses are like what, 5mg oral? 10mg oral? There is no way in hell that ANY recreational user is taking doses like that, one decent hit off the pipe (assume .1g loaded into the pipe total) is gonna be worth triple that especially considering increased bioavailability, the only possible way the blood levels would be that low is if they were indicative of prior use, and I'm pretty sure they can tell if the person was intox vs. just dirty by the metabolites.

Also I looked at those blood level charts for Fentanyl with my own dicks for eyes, and the relevant comparisons to DUI levels. Are you trying to fuck with me? I distinctly recall that Bananafloyd's levels were at minimum above average, if not in the upper third. I even made a rare pro-nigger argument that high blood levels aren't great determinants of death by overdose, because junkies can be insanely tolerant (Fentanyl specifically causes incredible snap tolerance). You're gonna have to post the relevant charts faggot, because I don't believe you.

You should have just inquired on the normal amount of hat fibers to be found in an average person and if he would consider the amount in his body above average as of yet.

It would have been more fruitful, since most likely they're going to use that one chart of fent-to-metabolite ratio.

St. Fentanyl did not have lower levels of fentanyl in his blood than 94% of DUI arrestees. They used some fentanyl/metabolite ratio. Which only means he died before his body could metabolize the fentanyl he swallowed in his car when he saw the 5-0 coming.

Lol calm down it's literally existed since 1400. Well over 200 years before "implicitly" in 1620. At least according to the OED.
