This is a political show trial. Disgusting. Chauvin was willing to plead guilty for 3rd degree murder but was blocked by then Attorney General Bill Barr.

They want riots, they want police demoralization, they want to replace the existing police with politically loyalist militants. The American deep state went full kompromat during J. Edgar Hoover and that was the end of the Revolutionary ideals.

Bitch raised the fucking drawbridges. You can separate a lot of the lakefront/downtown of Chicago from the rest of the city by pulling up the bridges, so the looting was contained to the, ya know, little people areas. The little people who weren't Latin Kings, that is, because those fuckers were not having it.

Oh she did a lot of things to protect the rich. it's a shame SCC deleted itself because it was a great archive of all the fuck ups chicago did. the shops on the miracle mile keeping low stock and then lighfoot having officers surge there (again leaving high crime areas understaffed) with nonstop mandatory OT for months on end was just insane. Officers were speculating Lightfoot wanted a tired cop to fuck up and shoot someone so the cops could take the blame instead of her.

Both sides of the case will give us quality content when it's done
If innocent twitter and BLM will go berserk.
If guilty /Pol/ and the "Alt-right" will go berserk.

it's going to be hilarious
Oh no, not the hecking shitposterinos until /pol/ moves on to shitpost about other things in a week or two
The horror

Holy shit, I forgot that they literally larped The Dark Knight Rises. Now I remember.

If they find him not guilty of murder and hang jury on manslaughter -- can the state bring up the murder charges again?

If they find a hung jury / mistrail, can Nelson bring up the blatant prosecution fuckery with the 98% evidence hiding?
To the second, yes, obviously. Judge himself said it's ground for mistrial and they brought it up after he said not to, it's good ground for appeal in addition to everything else.

To the first, I believe if falls under double jeopardy even if the more serious charges don't return a verdict, since he has been convicted of the crime and, ofc, you can't be tried or convicted twice. That might not be true due to specific rules of mistrial but I'm fairly certain if he's convicted here it's the only conviction he'd get

EDIT: wait I misread the first question, categorically no. I misread thought you were asking what happend if guilty for manslaughter and mistrial for murder lol. No, if someone is found not guilty of a crime, that's it, end of story. You can't be retried for that or anything. If they have a hung jury on manslaughter though that can be retried, but a not guilty for murder means murder is out the window.

No one on the right will go berserk. They bitch and moan and do nothing like always. They really need to take ques from Ahmed and Muhammed in how to riot the right way in minecraft.
