Heh. I find it funny that some of the articles about Klasky-Csupo look better then their actual website (warning, autoplaying audio)

Ollie Mongo is like any normal sixteen year old... except he's a brooding TEENAGE SKATEBOARDING ZOMBIE who lives 200 years in the future! He's got mad skills on the ramps and a few SUPERNATURAL POWERS!

You'd think the Ashens logo would be on the Scary Logo wiki. It has everything they're afraid of.

Cheesy factor: Nightmare. The beeping music and the googly eyes.
Scare factor: Nightmare. The background is bleak and the picture of Ashens is looking so stiff and serious before those googly eyes pop up suddenly.

I don't think I'm wean enough to post on their wiki, though.

The Autism Wiki. From what I've read of it so far, there's not much there that's very interesting, but I just found it funny that there exists an "Autism Wiki." Well, I suppose ALL of these are autism wikis, but this one is at least honest about it.

Does Chris have an article on there? Because if Chris doesn't have an article on an autism wiki, it's a fucking travesty.

Jesus, was that shit made in 1996 geocities? You'd think they'd be able to produce something better than this. Rugrats made a fuck ton of money back in the day, how can you fall that hard?

Well that's fitting- their shows are ugly, so I guess they had to make their website to match.

Just checked. He's not there.

I can't watch Ashens' videos because the logo gave me nightmares for weeks. The red tie reminded me of blood, as though his throat had been slit. The google eyes were like looking into the eyes of satan himself. Then, there was that bone-chilling "hello!" It came out of nowhere, and was scarier than anything I've ever heard. I'm posting this from a psych ward now. That logo traumatized me too much.

My favorite Wikia horrorstory happened when a small group of people wrote the Touhou Project Wikia, made it really damned good... and then for some reason wanted to host the wiki locally (it might've had to do with frustration over ads or changes to the skin). They figured, intelligently, that it would be dumb as hell to leave a bunch of content going outdated on the Wikia wiki; what's the point, after all, of improving a different wiki if Wikia will beat your pagerank?

So it turns out you can't delete a Wikia under most circumstances, even if you created it, and especially if there are other people who have contributed to it. Wikia won't do it. And probably intelligently so, because the Touhou Wikia was pretty well developed and was certainly driving a lot of pageviews (and thereby ad revenue) into Wikia's coffers. And technically speaking, since you grant Wikia a non-revocable license to content you contribute (same as with Wikipedia) you don't get to choose whether they keep it.

So for a long period of time, the Wikia would get pages blanked with links pointing to "the new wiki", and since nobody else was around to clean it up, eventually Wikia staff had to come in and keep it from happening. Last I checked (a few years ago), the Wikia was still running, and very outdated.

I just found a girl with a whopping 18,122 edits on the iCarly Wiki.

She should put that on a resume. It would fool me for a second into thinking that's a real accomplishment.
I actually put my Wikipedia edit count on my resume once. It actually impresses people. Go figure.

If anyone's not familiar with the Barney Bunch, they're a group that started as a bunch of trolls on Newgrounds who'd submit shitty flash animations about cartoon characters being gay and spam the portal. It was actually kinda funny. Then, they migrated to YouTube and pretty much all the original members left and were replaced by a bunch of spergs who'd create the same videos over and over again. Naturally, they've got several wikis. The Evil Barney Wiki isn't primarily about the Barney Bunch, but they've got a lot of articles relating to them. There's also the Nega Barney Bunch Wiki. That was always a recurring theme within the Barney Bunch. There were all these groups that were either gay and raped everyone, or straight and homophobic and did...other stuff. Nobody ever really came up with a definitive answer.

Of course, GoAnimate has a wiki. GoAnipedia, everyone. Much like everything else the GoAnimate community does, this is pretty much autism personified. Given their weird obsession with Caillou, it'd make sense for them to have an article on him (archived). Let's look at that article's categories, shall we?
What is it with these people and stupid, meaningless, and just plain redundant categorizations? I get that it has to do with autism, but of course, not everyone is this autistic. If you didn't bother reading all the categories, I highly suggest that you go back and do so. It's, like, ten times more hilarious than the category autism displayed by the hero and villain wikis. Notably, the last category is "people who dislike autism." They've also got an article on Gligar13Vids (archive). Guess who wrote it? Our old friend, CartoonFreak666 (AKA LynxFan29)! If you need a refresher, or don't follow CartoonFreak666, Gligar13Vids was some YouTube sperg (or possibly a troll) whom CartoonFreak had such an issue with, that he decided to make a 40 minute long "grounded" video on him (sadly, this video no longer seems to exist).

Do we have any ideas as to what started the Caillou thing? (Aside from Autism.)

No animation company from the 90s is complete without a website from the 90s.
I find it funny how they really tried too hard to bring the company back, getting in way over their heads by immediately announcing a new animated series starring the fucking splat-face logo, which was never heard about again.

Back on topic, I've had my fair share of experience with Wikias.. I started one about a webcomic once, and I just made it public and left.. I came back a year later after the comic had gotten popular, and it appeared the community had taken it over and made it into a really nice wiki.
