I've found that the internet is overly-forgiving toward those who would riot in response to a verdict yet overtly scornful toward those who would grumble. There are valid reasons to be angry or annoyed over the outcome of this case. Mass police resignation, officers taking full advantage of their lack of obligation to protect anyone (both of which I now presume to be likely) and a glowing precedence for jury intimidation does not benefit anyone other than criminals.
How long until you realize you lost and that your grumbling is useless?
You are second class citizens in your own country. Your govt has betrayed you and demoralized you into a pathetic state, and you think people want to hear your grumbling?

It's been over for 2 decades at least. You lost. Stop coping and embrace reality.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the order Local-State-Federal courts for trials, with appellate courts in between them?
No. Federal courts (other than SCOTUS) are not appeals courts for state courts. They have no authority over them. What occurs in federal courts, after the exhaustion of all direct appeals in a state court, is a writ of habeas corpus which is not a direct appeal but an assertion of a constitutional right. Most states also have an analog of habeas corpus, often called something like post-conviction relief, and also only available after direct appeals have been exhausted.

Kyle's case is a lot more clear cut so I still have hope there, but who knows? He could get a loaded Jury too.

Lmao, when the government is using mob tactics to get people prosecuted we have a problem.
This case was pretty clear cut, and the prosecution basically proved that Chauvin was innocent. That was still not enough.

Courts are just political theater.

phew, I feel different than I thought I would. I thought I would be mad if he got guilty on all counts, but I kind of get it lol.

Watching Rekieta's stream cleared a couple things up for me:
He was found guilty on all counts because they thought he met all elements of all charges. Will be harder on appeal to get a clean sweep of all charges.
Guidelines of sentencing:
  • Murder 2nd unintentional: assuming criminal history score of 0, 150 months the average (~10 years), could push him to 180-190 month range if considered aggravated
  • Murder 3rd and manslaughter may get served concurrently. So just the longest charge will get served out.
  • If you are convicted on multiple crimes at the same time, they will increase your criminal score even if you had no criminal history (score of 0)
He might get it appealed down to manslaughter. But only after a few years when a judge can look at that case without immediately saying “Lol I ain’t trying to commit career suicide.”

There's not enough :optimistic:'s for this statement. I say that as someone who's been on the receiving end of more than a few rainbows myself. Angry mobs getting what they want and the only people who can maintain civil order being sent to jail for bullshit reasons(Floyd didn't die because of anything Chauvin did, contrary to the bleating of the angry mob.)does not lead to "healing" it leads to unrest, mob rule, anarchy and destruction. The "best" case scenario for the future now is that we have private and unaccountable security contractors(read: mercenaries) to maintain the base level of civil order that a civilization depends on to function. If that happens, you can expect more dead poor people of whatever color, not less.

The more likely scenario is that an increasing number of US cities start to resemble what New York was like in the 1970s or what Detroit was like until very recently. I'm not a doomposter nor am I blackpilled, but what I will say is that this verdict means it is long past time for anyone who can get the fuck out of the cities to do so. Cities should now only be considered places to visit if you like the local amenities, night life, whatever, not places to live.
Personally I'm fine with the police being kept in check, as long as I can obtain some of those sweet sweet mercenary contracts.

Do you think Kyle Rittenhouse has a chance?
Fuck no. He's pretty much gonna be some pedo faggot's prison bitch at this point.

I'm not that surprised he got found guilty, there's obviously a lot of pressure on the jury to convict not to mention politicians meddling in its affairs by encouraging riots and stuff.

Not a fan of law enforcement as they're little more than foot soldiers for the global elite. And apparently cannon fodder as well, from what we have just witnessed today.

What a way to celebrate Hitler's birthday. LOL

Don't feel bad bacon lovers. The pigs will no doubt kill some more joggers in the near future, then you'll really get the riots you want. Welcome to mob rule, I wonder how many rich white kids are gonna commit arson and assault in low income minority areas tonight?
I thought they might get him on lesser charges because the prosecution was just that bad, and the jury is under pressure. Still, looking forward to watching the celebratory shopping.

Rittenhouse is fucked though. If they can put that shoddy case forward and get a full sweep, he's utterly fucked.

Also buy more guns and support the 2A actively as well as support politicians who support stand your ground laws as well as open carry.

Serious question: Is social media going to crack down on anyone who suggests that the jury may have been intimidated into their verdict?
Definite; the shit that walks Maxine Waters is probably already on the phone with Twitter and Facebook and Google, demanding they silence/ban any and everyone who points out that she engaged in jury tampering.

Rittenhouse didn't form the basis for a summer of 'peaceful' rioting and the videos of him actually make him look good. Chauvin's video right out of the bat made him look bad. I think there's a chance for Rittenhouse.
