Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Not just that, but you'd need a GOP majority made up of folks who have the stones to follow through on TWO impeachments the way dems did. Which is a snipe hunt if I ever heard one.

What's more likely is that the usual grifting graceful loser crowd waltzes into power, wags their collective(ist) finger at the dems, and then turns to the camera and says "Now is the time for america to come together and heal. We need to take the high road here."

Honestly. If Gaetz were to become president, it would be the equivalent of a radical political change expressed via electoral landslide, but in Washington.

You would need both parties to truly become independent politically, and basically boil down to red and blue party. And with that, have the branches also independent; no lobbyists in Congress; and a SCOTUS that just does its job-no more literally being not only who stacks the bench up the most, as well as who [will be] in charge with that bench present? (Looking at Bush and Trump when it came to elections.)

I'm laughing just thinking about such a fantasy land. It's the same world where Jenner will be Governor of California.
