But those movies had a shit charm about them that makes them timeless. Pixels is just a bland cynical cash-in made by Hollywood's biggest hack that like "Jack and Jill" and "That's My Boy", will be forgotten about because there was nothing worth remembering in the first place. There will still probably be showings of The Room 20 years from now, and people will still casually ask people about their sex lives while chucking footballs in its honor.

No one will even think about Pixels 20 years from now unless it's in the context of how much of fraud Adam Sandler is. I still love Happy Gilmore, what happened man?

Yeah no, I'm gonna have to disagree. He doesn't give much of a reason as to why he dislikes it besides "This movie sucks because Sandler is in it." And that's before the big "Fuck you" finale to Sandler and his own fanbase.

I thought he hated it because it did something bad video games. He did say in a tweet he felt like wanting to burn his videogame culture stuff just because of some stupid movie Sandler made.
