The powers that be have overestimated their ability to take away the benefits of society while still expecting the disenfranchised to continue obeying the rules.

The fabric of society is stretched super thin, I wonder what the next pin-prick will be that causes it to rip completely. I'm guessing economic collapse / hyperinflation from decades of horrific financial policies finally catching up with us thanks to the covid overreaction accelerating things this past year.

Humans are animals quite capable of extreme violence. Especially when they have nothing left, or even way before then when the bread and circuses start to fail. Which type of post-collapse dystopia are you guys rooting for? I'm more of a mad max guy, but the hunger games is probably popular with the youngins.

Correct. The people REEEEEing about the vaccines and distancing and all that shit are fully bought in to the idea that this is about health. It's not. It's a series of excuses to upend the apple cart. This is merely an uncommonly effective scare tactic on the unwashed masses. Shuffle us all toward bug protein ("Close all the wet markets! Meat is ~~**unsafe**~~"), Rockefeller-style dependency dollars (The US government is currently experimenting with crypto cash so they can snatch your finances away for dissidence that much more easily. Like China!), and citizen profiling (get that jab! To hell with HIPAA. Everything about your citizen ranking should be public!)

Do you think the rich silicon valley private schools are requiring the jab to reopen? Please, medical experimentation is for the poors.

At the end of the day things get worse or better based on how many people are willing to fight or not. Terrifying!

They're treating normal people like children that have to be scolded and punishe and the worst thing is everyone seems ok with it.

It’s such a boomer mentality to want to live a year or two longer in a hellscape rather than be able to live your life again, see friends, and family. Like why live if this is the rest of your life (assuming you only got 1-2 years left as it is).

The idea that they too could potentially be caught up in the teeth of this or some future control regime honestly doesn't seem to have crossed their minds for even a fleeting second. They'll cheer as the people they're indoctrinated to hate are punished for not following the rules without ever considering "that could be me someday." I guess that's human nature, but the myopia sure does get tiresome to witness.

If I get a blood clot (taking baby aspiring for a month to try and prevent that just in case) I promise the farms that I'll sue my university. If I'm still alive and aware, that is.
