yeah, in the first 24h or two weeks if you never started it (iirc). pretty lenient, and even has live chat which is always great for normies. plus free trials for most of their games, but those come with their own usual EA bullshit where it only works half the time when not telling you to fuck off with a nondescript error message most normies won't even bother with (for example origin doesn't activate a trial because you activated another demo too recently or some shit, it was pretty retarded and annoying last time I had to deal with it).
bigger issue is that it likes to shit itself since it's some crappy bloated web 2.0 html wrapper to the point you can't even play your games when you only get blank page. it also misses some convenience features like finding installed games (there's a workaround but origin still wants to treat it like a full install, which is great when you have your stuff on a SSD or something and it starts complaining there isn't enough space, even tho the files are already there).
TLDR: even when their customer service is good, doesn't matter when their client is dogshit, because that's what's important for most people and lot of normies will never bother with CS anyway.
