Excuse my fed posting here for a moment, but wouldn't you just love to beat the shit out of these "standards enforcer" narcs who are going around and suing businesses if they don't follow all the BS procedures. This is really what every business is scared about, and all the farcical shit spirals out from here, the threat of these cunts coming and writing you up while you're already in debt and sales went down 50%. It's no wonder a lot of stores turn into spergs about it.

Anyway in my small town, there was this cunt reporter who was taking a video of all these people coming out of a church and she's ranting about how terrible and awful it is. The news story then blows up and the church are the bad guys, they ended up getting fined like 20 thousand or something absolutly NUTS.

I am not even a christian and shit like that just boils my blood, people like that should be murdered.

This is kinda iconic to all of this. The left -very clearly- wants to use Coronavirus as a way to commit to totalitarian nonsense. They clearly thought that COVID would be the ideal vector for this... yet keep getting stopped by even basic safeguards.

You make it sound more voluntary than it was. You are right too much happened too fast, but it wasn't to score an easy win that they stopped because stopping actually fucks over a lot of their long-term plans.

The more accurate truth was that it was an easy pressure release valve, hurts their plans long-term, but let them stop things from boiling over and fucking up -hard- in the short-term. If they could have done -anything- else to the same effect they would have, but it was the only thing actually within their control to do.
