Back when Olly was staying at Ryann's for the second time, she posted a shot of Bowie in his diaper. (Photo is on page 762 of this thread. Sorry for not re-posting it, but I want nothing to do with that abomination as it's way too close to something inappropriate for comfort; it's easy to find on the specified page.) This is the kind of photo that someone trying to pimp out a kid would post; any halfway normal parent would have thrown an absolute shitfit over Olly posting something so inappropriate and disgusting, but Ryann didn't react at all that I know. I didn't see anyone here discussing the very weird text Olly had posted atop the photo. The text reads: "it's working he's becoming a doll i can feel it" [sic]. What the fuck does this mean?! There is something deeply unsettling about it. What Olly was doing in that room is something that seriously bothers me. Laughing at Ryann is one thing, but seeing that photo with that caption, taken by someone who is doubtless a sociopath, gave me serious pause. Something is not kosher in Denmark, as they say. It isn't as though female predators don't exist.

I read it as - as a narc. All I want is kids to be like me, (perfect) and also controllable, like dolls. They hate that they can't control other people and with young kids you get all the power as a parent as you make all the decisions and dictate how the world is to be viewed.
Tess' posts about Bowie and Rylee are very telling. Every now and again she will post a pic with Rylee in it, when she cant reinforce and delude her narc brain that it was her magnanimous personality that respects his decision to not be on social media just to remind him who is boss.
Don't get me wrong. Bowie is abused in many ways, many of them neglect. But having such an inappropriate age gap and what Bowie could be exposed to, which his child mind should be protected from is also abuse. Not only that, but no disciple from a great god could convince me that Olly wasn't also under the influence of several drugs and substances whilst in the same room as Bowie. But no I don't think I see signs of sexual abuse. ... ... yet...

I think your interpretation is probably the correct one, but I keep getting stuck on the fact that if Olly truly were a man, I'd have zero doubts that inappropriate touching was going on there; then my brain says, "But women can be predators, too!" Which they can be; it's just a lot more rare. So ultimately that photograph and its weird caption still leave me horrified and uncomfortable, even though, as you said, it's likely that Olly meant Bowie is a small helpless creature whom she has full control of in a non-sexual way. Bowie badly needs at least one adult he can trust but so far he's batting zero. Given he was in diapers until he was four (is he still in diapers? Do we know?), I don't think even Jolene was much of a caretaker. It isn't that hard to potty train a kid, but it does take patience. For a child his age to essentially still be operating at the level of a three-year-old, serious and prolonged neglect has to have occurred. That child has had no one except a parade of trashy cluster B fuckwits. It hurts to see child abuse occur in real time; it is a given that his life is an unpredictable cycle of neglect and verbal abuse. Ryann is definitely someone who yells at her children; she's a dime a dozen at Wally World and any area where white trash abounds, rich or poor. Her type is easily analysed and she is incapable of nurturing a child. I am sure she enjoys making Bowie feel like shit about himself. Narcs are always sadists to their children.
I was raised by the classic borderline mother / narc father combo, and both personality types are narcs, just different kinds. Borderlines are also known as "covert narcs." Undermining their children's self-confidence and finding ways to shit all over every moment of happiness the kids manage to eke out for themselves is a daily pastime for narcs.

I'd been recovering from having bolts drilled into my spine last year and I just had it done again a week ago, so perusing the farms has become one of my primary sources of entertainment. I am very happy that "Superwaddle" is appreciated; I bet Ryann would hate it! She should get it tattooed on her ass. The one true tattoo.
