I'm confused because I thought Wedge was complaining that lesbians are transphobic because they still regards MtFs as men - ok, I'm following that idiot logic so far. Lesbians consider MtFs as men, that's their pov that Wedge disagrees with and is offended by.
But people are upset because Wedge is explaining why lesbians are transphobic? So MtF are not trans anymore, they're just women? Am I having a stroke?
I'll toss my hat in the ring for this part of the discussion. Small PL, but I have actually asked this sort of question to trans people before.
This is the basic understanding of what it means to be "bi lesbian," as it was explained to me. Keep in mind that this wasn't explained to me by a Kevin-level troon, but some person who actually *tried* to pass. There's still some level of

on my part over it, though, purely because I hate word salads and over-complicating language.
So the idea is that there is the whole male-female thing going on biologically, as we know, but, strictly for the purpose of organizing facets of sexuality, "transgenders" themselves are allegedly grouped together under a totally different, nebulous umbrella. Because they may be biologically one or the other, but present as the opposite, it gets confusing. Some lesbians apparently are attracted to *female-presenting* people, irrespective of genetalia. That's when she may decide to use the "bi lesbian" denotation.
Now, I personally say to that "no, she's bisexual, full stop," or "she has a fetish." But I guess in the LGBT circles that I don't traverse, "transgender" itself has just become so confusing due to conflicting politics and in-fighting. Calling yourself "bisexual" isn't *specific* enough, you see! And it would imply that this woman may like cis men! Can't have that. (Though bisexuals have a whole different set of issues in the community, I won't get into that here.)
Some women will say "excluding transwomen from lesbians is transphobic because then you're saying they're not women??? How dare???" and that anyone who says "I don't like penis" is a TERF. Other, more sane-ish types go along with "trans aren't women, we're our own thing, we have a medical condition, we just want to live as women but recognize that we're not biologically female, blah blah blah" so therefore they stick on the "bi lesbian" tag because it closer identifies what they themselves consider to be: a separate sex/gender salad that's too confusing to really pigeonhole into one definition. It doesn't fully click along with the whole "we understand that we're not biologically female" ideology, but I guess that calling yourself a woman is enough? That part was still confusing for me.
More and more, though, that latter group is being drowned out by people who think that having a genital preference = TERFism and that if you're a lesbian or a gay man, you're intolerant if you don't sleep with a transperson. It's absolutely clownish to essentially beat down on each other over something as stupid as mangling the English language just so they can each feel Recognized and Special. Both sides need to just stop and accept the fact that drilling down on sexual preferences is irrelevant to your day to day, unless you're a big slut, I guess.
In conclusion, most troons are troonsexual, not lesbians or bi, in my opinion. None of them would attract a female of any kind of quality and males who don't fetishize them in the *correct* way are evil (also cis men, ew?), so they will exclusively fuck each other like a sad pile of flesh.
Also, it bears repeating that I absolutely hate this mangling of language and the explanation above isn't justification of the insanely confusing system they've created for themselves. It was just the only explanation I was ever given that made sense to me.
