259 LGBTQ characters in cartoons that bust the myth that kids can't handle inclusion - "We're not gonna brainwash your kids", they said 10 years ago.

Checked the database, no Shore Leave from the Venture Bros. And before you say that Venture Bros is an adult cartoon, do you think that these people would give a damn? If they actually cared about inclusion, they would include the gay character that was able to kill at least a dozen people a few seconds after walking into a room. That would make more people view gay people favorable than a bunch of dyke rocks that sing songs about friendship.

There is a reason why I tend to just enjoy my shows and not participate in any Fandumb and follow the principle of death of the author. If you don't have the balls to include it in the original text, I am ignoring it.

Anime handles gay content better. While YMMV on the writing depending on the author, it is there for the story not to push an agenda or fill a checkbox. Thankfully, yuri and yaoi is easy to avoid if it is not your thing.

Edit. Also anime/manga writers have the balls to include the gay in the original text instead of all this retroactive bullshit.

Manga is already extremely popular. Go to a Barnes and Noble and compare the US comics section to the manga section. They even stock things like Uzuki-Chan Wants to Hang out and isekai.

There's a crazy amount of overrepresentation on the She-Ra and Steven Universe lists. Never mind the gems. But OG She-Ra was a half hour toy commercial much like He-Man. Nu She-Ra can't be selling that many toys to kids and they are probably bought to gush over on social media before being tossed in a dark drawer for all eternity. No one but adults seems to care about a lot of the woke cartoons. It all feels like bad fanfiction that was allowed licensing.

Everyone is in such a rush to be inclusive and so afraid of accusations that they aren't that this is what we get.

At least they haven't made a new Jem cartoon as far as I know. The comic is weird enough. They couldn't really scream it wasn't raciially diverse enough but they did make Kimber and Stormer lesbians based on a single original episode where they do a side project together to blow off steam. And Stormer is a fat pig now. Well they did make Jetta black. But she was supposed to be in the first place anyway.

It's just really horrifying to see that Nick Jr shows are even on board with tranny crazy. If you are yound enough to watch Blues Clues you don't need to know what a poly family is.
