I sincerely do not understand why people have any expectations for E3, or follow any current trend at all. You know it's going to be superficial, overplayed & behind the times within the hour. You don't get hyped for mainstream products because they're created by and for oversocialised normies. Why not pay a visit to your dinghy multimedia store, pick up copies of movies/games of yesteryear for a steal and go home? Vidya industry shows such excesses and trend chasing because the market exploded, dangerhairs and dragqueens are only a biproduct. Fuck, buy some good indies, steam's search feature and online neckbeards exist, you have no excuse.

In what world did Nintendo win? Showing me overpriced ports of games I played years ago and a Metroid that looks like a cheap knock off doesn't count as win in my book. The only game I have any interest in is SMT and even then nothing they showed blew me away. I wasn't garbage, but it certainly didn't win anything.

Xbox had a good showing but 90% of the conference was gamespass or "in game engine" bullshit that I don't care about. I'm hopeful for Halo, but I'm expecting it to be shit. They showed fuck all of Starfield and it'll probably be Skyrim in space which is fine I guess, but I feel like I've played every Bethesda game at this point.

Square Enix was an embarrassment. The only notable thing apart from CHOAS was how bad Babylon's fall looks.

Capcom wasn't too bad. They didn't really bring anything to the table, but I like the look of Ace Attorney Chronicles and more Monster Hunter is good even if it is Pokémon now.

Maybe, but it wouldn't be the first time that Atlus USA has changed things in localized games to conform with the feelings of twittards, this happened with Persona 5 Royal and Catherine Fullbody before.

Treehouse also recently censored the western release of Famicom Detective Club (The Girl Left Behind) by removing entire sections where the young teenager MC could harass female characters by examining their chests, which would result on the japanese version of the game in getting sent in jail or being treated like a pariah by everyone in town. Censorship hardly makes sense.
