He's just as ignorant about comic book shit as he is politics. In his episode review of Falcon/Winter Soldier he gets mad that Zemo was able to hurt the female terrorist super soldier by shooting her in the abdomen.

For the non-autistic who actually know the touch of a human woman, the single highest selling comic book issue with Steve Rogers in it is when Sharon Carter kills him by shooting him in the chest with a pistol.

In real life the human body can endure a lot of pain or be crippled by something which would normally be minor if it hits a vital spot. In the comics those with the super soldier serum are tough but can still be injured by bullets if not killed because they are still mortal. I mean for fuck sakes Joe in the second Captain movie he came closest to nearly dieing from a hand to hand fight because he was outclassed by the Winter Soldier and only survived by luck.

Steve could take a bullet because he wore armour incase he didn't deflect it. So yes, Joe here doesn't know comics despite being a huge Superman mark.

Also yeah, that's Death of Captain America; Death of a Dream. Good comic, back when Marvel comics were actually worth reading.

His "review" for Jupiter's Legacy, some bargain bin Netflix super hero garbage. It takes place in two different timelines, one in the past and one in the present, and Joe's opinion is that everything in the past is boring and he wishes the show had more current timeline in it. I've seen a good 4-5 different reviews of the show all saying the exact opposite, that the show should've spent more time in the past because everything in the present sucks. I'm not actually going to watch more capeshit to find out myself but it's pretty funny he has the exact opposite opinion of other "reviewers". After a week it's only slightly over 100k views.

His next vlog is for Castlevania, the only animated thing I've watched as an adult and despite loving everything about the show and giving it a 10 out of 10 he doesn't know one of the main character's name, instead of calling them Carmilla he repeatedly calls her Camille and Camilla. You'd naturally think "well that's a nitpicky thing anyone could make that mistake" but no, the way the characters speak is slow as fuck, it's nearly impossible for you to hear the name as anything else.

He then makes an observation that "it doesn't make sense that the vampires struggle with the humans during the final battle" which just blows my fucking mind. The show makes it painfully, painfully obvious that the vampires are purposely trying to just keep the attention of the humans while they have a double agent doing something inside their headquarters.

After a day it's sitting at 76k views. I can't even understand how it has that many. Who can watch this shit and take his opinions seriously and not just think he's a buffoon?

It doesn't feel like there's a lot of artistic expression in the channel, it's there because it pays the bills (apparently). Seems unwise to rock the boat as long as that's the case.

I think OJ would have a lot of work to do in order to break away, but could. He could probably garner a following doing just fun dicussions about bad movies and streaming ZOMBIES GAMES! But, he'd have to learn to be more expressive and entertaining without a script.

OJ is a likeable guy that you'd know would be a good friend but I don't watch people's "content" because I'd like them to be my friend.

Alex is a less annoying Real Joe, an overgrown manchild but at least he doesn't yell and scream constantly. I do like how the idiot fans of Real Joe constantly complain that Alex is "too negative", as if the channel's claim to fame isn't based on yelling negative shit into a camera.

I did enjoy Alex being the only one of the three who, justifiably, took the position that he hopes CDPR just burns to the ground after CyberPunk. Real Joe was being so mealy mouthed and star struck because he'd actually been to their offices and met the team that every complaint he had about CP was met with equal praise and excuse making, i.e. "they're the best studio in the business, I hope they learned their lesson and com back stronger than ever!". Nigger please, they just committed massive fraud to both consumers and their own shareholders and you're too dumb to crucify them for it. Only Alex took the position of "I don't care what happens to the company anymore" and you could tell it was pissing Real Joe off.

I'll be honest. Took me a little to break that thought process too. But, since we're in the context of Angry Joe, you learn to recognize it as Other Joe here.

Btw... following news Also somehow better with AJ and Alex than all three of them... AJ is still by far the most annoying of the three in these news segments. But for some reason all three of them together is the worst. I think it's too many voices for a news show.

It's scummy but it's not unlawful. The NFL offered EA the license to create official licensed NFL games, EA accepted. Or is it the other way around? Anyway, both companies agreed to use each other for merchandise. Contracts and such, all legal.

Not an EA or NFL apologist, just agreeing with @You pointing out Joe's flawed line above.

I was listening to Griffin Gaming earlier and he played that video. Why did Joe whine about the studio hiring someone from the community? He started rambling about the guy doing it for free etc. with no proof. If the player is a competent dev then why wouldn't they hire him? He goes on about the cutscenes being the same every year, do they have to be different?
