We have spent probably the past 7-10 years listening to women reeeee about the sexualization of video games only for them to be put on panels to sexualize the fuck out of games in the most cringe way possible. We have reached full circle.

Haven’t seen a rebuttal as to how this is not wrong.

I just noticed that the whole “Black Voices In Gaming” trend is little lame because I don’t even know any black gamers that like JRPGs. With the exception of @Vyse Inglebard, only ones I know that like JRPGs are just usually the play it safe ones like Persona 5 and Final Fantasy.

I have yet to see them talk in length about the Grandia series or something like this:

apparently blacks can be huge weebs, so I wouldn't put it past them. of course it could always be that they're only surface level weebs with naruto and dbz or hide their powerlevel out of habit to appear more lika a brotha.

Or the Grandia series' progenitor, the Lunar series, which, coincidentally, is also pretty damn underrated in terms of JRPGS and which also deserves a remaster more than anything (2 more so than 1, since Silver Star has already seen its fair share of modern ports). Alas, excitement of that kind is a long way from gaming of today....

Black people can be massive weebs. I've known one that not only loved to watch it, but came to highschool wearing on one of those ahego hoodies.

Edit: damn auto-correct

Black dudes can be just as autisticlly dorky about things as white people. One coworker loved to bust out his Yu-Gi-Oh! cards during lunch breaks and admire his holographic cards. One of my buddies is also obsessed with Resident Evil, buys all the merch, speed runs the hell out of the series all the time and is one of the straight from dark continent black as fuck dudes.

Anyways, I came here to ask if anyone got banned for saying Canada or Women Rappers?

I wonder what this chick would make of Daniella from Haunting Ground?

Look on the bright side, maybe women like this will finally lighten the fuck up about sexy women in video games? Maybe now they can see why it's something cool?

After a fucking decade maybe people are going to get bored with the Sarkeesian style tight assery and want something different?

You're being overly dramatic. E3 was never representative of the future of video games, just the ones they felt like presenting.
You are half correct, but the reality is I have a lot of games to play in my backlog, so not paying attention to any gaming news or coverage for a while is fully in my realm of possibility.

Okay, I just decided to get involved in this thread and I didn't watch E3 because honestly, I didn't give two shits about it in a long time. Can someone give me the rundown as to all the stupid stuff that happened? I know that Take-Two had an entire session of talking about representation in video games instead of actually announcing video games, and that the Strangers of Paradise demo was broken at launch, and that there were too many games that nobody was interested in, but is there anything else I'm missing?

Today's E3 was more about wasting people's time with politics rather than showing us new games. The only good ones were Nintendo and Xbox (for the most part).

The only conference from E3 that actually were worth a damn was Microsoft and maybe Nintendo, except that there were more remakes and ports than actual new stuff from theirs compared to Microsoft's who actually shown off some new stuff overall. The rest was a virtue signaling shitshow of woke agenda being shoved down people's throats (Fuck you, Take-Two Interactive). -_-

Also, the updated artwork and 2.5D graphics for the upcoming Advance Wars remake look terrible IMO. What a downgrade compared to the original.

I'd say that Nintendo's presentation was mostly new games (along with more info for BoTW 2). The only remakes that were really shown were for Mario party and Advanced Wars.

Speaking of which, I thought you guys were exaggerating about the phone game comments, but good god you guys are right.

Black weebs? Haven't you guys heard of MadThad?

He was pretty notorious for being weeb as fuck.

Then again, he was also notorious posting about being a pedophile ironically until, surprise surprise, he turned out to actually be a pedophile. He got busted and did time. And then we all learned that, if someone posts pro-pedo shit under the guise of irony, they're actually a pedophile.

Even though I did enjoy what both Microsoft and somewhat Nintendo had at E3, I'm still sticking to PC as my platform of choice, despite Valve only having one announcement there regarding the Steam Next Fest, which is an event featuring demos for upcoming indie titles that are currently in development. I feel that consoles nowadays are just closed ecosystems or gimped PCs and nothing else nowadays. =\

Hate to break it to you, but that's always been the case (mostly the closed ecosystem and gimped PCs part). Hasn't stopped me from playing console games, but I understand choosing to stick to PC.

choosing to stick to PC in a year like this especially if you're investing in building one is a hard time right now. not in a provocative way to pc gamers of course the struggle is tough

...despite Valve only having one announcement there regarding the Steam Next Fest...

ughhh that made me so disappointed but i wouldn't put that past them too much they literally just made a game like a year ago. what's the off chance the game after that announcement got disappointment-bombed?
