We all know if they could they would.
Actually, coming back to this -- Didn't they literally include paint schemes that give special stat bonuses in the Dwarf-Jew-Zeppelin faction of AoS? We're not that far off, but they do seem to have backed off on it.
At least, we haven't had any incidences of something like "I'm choosing to may my homebrew Marines Chapter as Dark Angels" -> "No, you can't do that because they're not Dark Angels, so you have to play them as a successor chapter with the build-your-own-chapter rules." That I know of.
Minor quibble: GW really dropped the ball not calling the files STCs.I own a 4k resin printer.
Yes, it is absolutely at the point we can get GW quality models. The sticking point is there's not a lot of 3D modelers and GW is currently targeting people who make anything even remotely close to GW stuff. They even had a job posting a few weeks back for an intern who will be infiltrating 3D Modeling communities and reporting what they find to GW legal.
This is something that will solve itself eventually. Even faster if someone at GW leaks the official GW STL files, which absolutely will happen someday.
Well those color schemes represents specific fleets, chapters, armies, etc. You can paint your armies whatever color you like, but if you paint a chapter of Salamanders, complete with onyx black skin and red eyes, and then say that they are Ultramarines, then it is clear that you are trying to powergame then play with what you have. It's fine for friendly games but I can see why GW restricts it for tournaments in the same way you can't proxy weapons and units.Actually, coming back to this -- Didn't they literally include paint schemes that give special stat bonuses in the Dwarf-Jew-Zeppelin faction of AoS? And battle reports... And lore videosDid anyone just get an email im not watching the stream but Warhammer+ will also get you exclusive miniatures through it apparently.
See I was right they had to ask useless fluff on the side it couldnt just be cartoons. Although lore videos straight from GW I wonder how that will turn out.And battle reports... And lore videos

That one painter who is also a minis designer at GW who was forced to close his Youtube account by GW, Darren Latham, called his final painting tutorial series the Lord of Blights Masterclass. Wonder if they salvaged that situation by moving him over to Warhammer TV?
I was gutted when Darren had to stop uploading.View attachment 2287994
You get a 25GBP miniature onec a year with your 50GBP/year subscription. What a steal!

$6 a month doesnt seem crazy for what you get in there.
I has both the sigmar and 40k appDoes it also include the Warhammer App? Someone on twitter was saying it did. If so, that's not bad I guess.
Bonus if they throw Preorders up early for Warhammer+ subs, or do special print on demand runs for them. Basically a fuck you to the scalpers.
At a glance, the new Warhammer Vault seems like an acceptable alternative to my original expressed desire for WH+ to include audiobooks. However, closer scrutiny of the messaging has me worried.
- PDFs! Vast collection off all of Warhammers stuff right? Lol, nah. All of last years White Dwarfs and a selection of old out of print stuff that is "constantly expanding" Books, I think I saw a comic(I listened to this in the grocery store), old campaign stuff with Gathering Storm Fall of Cadia.
