How bad is Cover management that Coco's graduation is making other people want to leave as well?

The current situation should by any account be dream jobs for every girl in Hololive. There is no productive thing management could reasonably be doing to cause their talents this much stress and anxiety.
I don't think it's necessarily on Cover that this is happening the way it is. Or at least, Cover aren't handling their business any differently than any other Japanese company would.

We know for a fact that, in regards to management getting in the way and blocking creative decisions/ideas, Marine, Pekora, Haachama (who I believe also sees the writing on the wall given the timing of her indefinite hiatus), and practically all of Holostars have voiced their disgruntlement. Pekora had to private a stream where she broke down crying that one of her ideas was knocked back. Astel made a video apologising to his fans that he felt he wasn't good enough for them because he couldn't do all these things he wanted to and got stuck in an APEX rut as a result. Haachama was in and out of hiatus whenever policy changes wiped her videos for unknown periods of time.

We also know that Shion's roommate had suicidal thoughts, Calli's mental health is in flux, Korone and Aki have both thought about retiring already. This is a 'dream job' with crushing amounts of pressure.

On July 1, I think all of them realised that no king rules forever. Kiryu fucking Coco of all people - a woman who on the backend was experiencing these same restrictions and pressure as others - decided that she wanted to go and do her own thing, and I think this has opened the door for others to start contemplating the notion of leaving.

This isn't really a 'Cover bad' thing. If you consider yourself a Creative and you work in a creative field, having that creativity diluted and restricted is the single most morale-crushing thing you can deal with. This happens in every industry in every country. Movie productions have internal disputes, people leave bands because they no longer want to create that type of music and feel suffocated etc. It's just how it is.

What is this?

While this happens everywhere I think the idol industry in Japan is where it's the worst.
The way Seiyuu are treated is a testament to that ( I will never forget the Koro koro Connect incident).
All I hope is that this thing doesn't topple right when it got big.

Leaving the door open and parting on good terms with the first is just the least-bad solution. There are things Hololive can do moving forward with new hires/renegotiations to make the path much harder. Anyone in a similar situation is likely to see the writing on the wall and realize their best option is to leave in her wake. If they stick around until renegotiations that option might not be on the table.
seems they still learning how to be on industries while Japan still work like ancient way. like idk how they still able to function in creative industry when they refuse to have new thing to do. take it from Yagoo interview with Coco last time. when coco ask the criteria to join Hololive he said "someone that have experience, since you going to deal with a lot of people watching you" from now you know that a standard he set. while back then people like subaru who have 0 experience in streaming able to go join hololive, and he make sure later that talent doesnt need to worry with stuff (probably refer to how bad they dealing the situation with antis etc)

like some of you has state above this post it is a dream job and yet still have crushing amounts of pressure. and sure having the big one left make other also think similiar, maybe they really already set that in mind, and now try to grind on whatever they want before leaving. in the end even they left Holo, and still going around in Creative Industry in japan. they will meet the same people again and again. the only thing died is these character we used to know, but if its open to dedicated people that will keep on track on what they will do its still great.

its like a story that end yet instead you wondering "what if" situation with each people, you still can follow them seperately. the only thing that will be gone is Subaru cause we never know her roomate and idk if she ever do indie stream or move to working like normies.

@Takodachi any update on priestess original song? isnt she said it gonna be out on the end of June, and now its already july lmao

Looking at the AX Lite schedule, the Vshojo part is missing Hime (who never streams so hardly surprising + timezone differences as that's 12 PDT) but maybe more notably Veibae isn't there.

Are Sydsnap's streams even remotely interesting, or are the same run and done "I have big boobies, I love sex and giving birth to children" jokes that comprised 90% of her first stream? I've only seen her live like two or three times.

Just staring for anyone here. Knowing it pre-recorded makes it feel not as special but I'm not complaining , I completely understand why it is now. Let see if we get any good sing songs out of it.

I don't know why but the fact Marine is typing in chat while she dancing on stage makes it rather funny. It the little things that get me.

It might just be me, but has anyone noticed since this is pre-recorded, they added quite a few special effects and transition bits compared to other actual Lives in the past, plus it silky smooth. Suppose there are some real benefits to having stuff recorded now.

Thats true though. Like AZKi's celebration, they can add effects during performance. Who knows, you can also edit some of the voices.

Edit: Sankisei Oppai trio

I agree it looks really good, i just wish the girls would train on their awareness how their RL poses translate to the model. I am probably nitpicking, but I wish Rushias hands wouldnt clip so much into her outfit.

Edit I hate trannies so damn much, I just want to chat about my cute tubers
