When the bank foreclosures the house, how much will the auction go?

I really really want 14 Branchlane Court.

There's a chance that it might be cheap or nearly free. No kidding! One of the consequences of chronic hoarding is that the house is often contaminated to the point where remediation is impossible, meaning that the value of the house is the value of the underlying land minus the cost to bulldoze the building. You can see the same phenomenon in Detroit - shitholes sell for $1 because they look like a Syrian's bombed out hut and there are back taxes up the ass on the property.

So in other words, if the land is worth $40k, but it would cost $20k to bulldoze the house and there's $10k in taxes owed, the price it would sell for is $10k. Definitely a huge loss for the mortgage company but it's part of the business. If the building is still standing at the time of the sale, it would have to be a cash sale since nobody would accept that shithole as collateral. Also, property tax liability goes with the deed so whoever buys it will be holding the bag.

According to homes.com, which has records of housing values the property is worth somewhere in the range of $215,952 - $274,848 (price updated within the last 30 days)

I'm willing to bet most of the value of the property will be tied up in the land, rather than the house itself. Especially considering it has previously burned down, been refurbished, had a second mortgage taken out on it, been previously lived in for multiple decades, and has been the home of filthy hoarders and their retarded son(ichu) during that time, who probably didn't do much in terms of upkeep. They don't even do basic gardening or lawn maintenance. Any developer or landlord or whatever who would be interested in snapping up the property would probably have to do extensive renovations on the house before reselling/renting it out. So considering all that I can only assume the value is for the land.

If anyone did get 14 BLC if Charb lose it, they can expect to be harassed by w-e-e-n-s.

That could make it like buying a house that was built over an old Indian burial ground.

(maybe that's why CWC is so crazy?)

Yeah, I believe so too. The real value is the land and I estimate it at close to 200k, maybe less. The new house is probably built in with cheap materials and shoddy construction. I seriously doubt their foundations are what they use to before the fire (even with all the hoarding).

Most likely too. I already said previously on this thread that I believe Chris house will become a mecca for internet netizens when he dies and some people will do pilgrimages just to see where Chris lived. Is a solid opportunity to buy the house now and then charge people for tours, pictures, souvenirs or shit like that.

Since I haven't kept up too much with CWC crap these days, it's kind of odd or unsettling how fast he got so deep into New Age woo. Probably because unlike other religions, New Age says all can use "psychic powers", and Chris thinks he could wield them IRL like a cartoon character. So hoping to complete "da merge" and become a "goddess" in this world, he's gone all "chakra" this and "astral projection" that.

Whoever buys the property will have to deal with Chris randomly visiting. God forbid that the new owners leave the front door open. He would absolutely invite himself in and think it’d be quirky.
That's easily the least annoying part of this experience, the owner will also have to deal with living in a house that is effectively listed off plenty of services due to people using them to troll Chris, all fucked up from the hoarding, and also is a Mecca for random retards on the internet who will pop around at random. Not to mention the fucking stalkers!

You couldn't pay me enough to own that property, it's like the poor fucker who owns the Breaking Bad house and has to deal with a bunch of retards throwing pizzas at his roof.

The original house number was 46, so I bet changing it from 14 might mitigate this a bit. Maybe.

That particular shit is why fandoms are evil and stupid, even normie fandoms for normie media like that. Idiot Breaking Bad fans threatened to kill Anna Gunn for shit Skyler had done. There are literally people in this world completely incapable of distinguishing fiction from reality.

And the scariest part is some of them are in the highest parts of government.

Or blame the production for making things so convincing.

Who is the guy and what's the story? Is it Trump?

That makes the dead serial killer's house more livable than Chris's.

Didn't just last week some faggot from 4chan go there and try to lure Chris out by serenading him with flute music and offerings of Fanta

Edit; Yea found it..

Don't know if this fits here but saw this on /pol/. Some autist visited Chris and left him a peace offering of a Fanta bottle, art and a $20 bill. He also apparently played flute near Patty's old dog house and Chris saw him through the window.

Man that grinds my gears... Speaking of the Breaking Bad house topic from earlier, there's sellers on ebay that go to places where movies were filmed, many of which are private property including houses, just to collect dirt/rocks and sell them as "location relics". And people actually buy them.

I can almost imagine people doing that with Chris's house.

I mean isn't the retard already doing this himself? I know he's selling rocks from his driveway as magical god rocks that make you retarded but I don't know if he's been successful selling them. It wouldn't surprise me if he has considering the amount of retards who have given Chris money for actual trash.
