I pirate, because I don't want to pay.
I pirate, because often too bored to finish game. It's like playing Demo in times, when Demos were still thing. One time Game Dev says he like Pirates, because it's like playing Demo and give free advertisement!
I pirate, because nerdy game developers are spineless omega-males, who don't stand up to bi-gendered women in their companies, who set the poltiical tone.
Why support team of ideological enemy? Would make me bad teammate of my ideological team. Therefore never support modern game companies. Have to puke, when I see rainbow logo last month!

I, only get my games from our Lord and Savior in Bellevue, Washington.

I don't really even play video games or care for digital piracy, but I'll plagiarize this chick's opinion and co-sign it I guess. She seems like a reasonable and well-adjusted member of this forum and I'm sure she'd say all this again if she was still able to:

(Serious answer: I don't actually pirate ((anymore)), but goddamn is it tempting sometimes for software. I have a software license that I bought with real money right now that's useless because it's apparently tied to a computer that I dismantled. So it doesn't validate anymore and every time I try to get in touch with their customer support to fix it they bounce me. Fuckers.)

I'll laugh if you get a virus.

I'm entitled to get things for free without working for them. It's society's fault that I'm like this, so save your anger for every other person besides me, because they're the real criminals.

fuck off glownigger.

I used to pirate all the time when I was a flat-broke teen, but the combination of having income and the steep discounts of Steam sales results in me not bothering to pirate games anymore. The convenience of cloud saving and always being able to re-download a game with certainty is worth a few bucks here or there. It's now relatively cheap to legally purchase a large backlog of games it'll take a long time to complete. There are certain companies I refuse to patronize though, such as EA (charge for EVERYthing) because they're enormous kikes. I don't want my money contributing to their capitalist shenanigans and general business Jewishness.

Many reasons. For example, if it's an otherwise interesting game but includes shit like gay propaganda (think Rogue Legacy or VA-11 Hall-A) then they'll never see a cent. Other times I just want to try a game that doesn't have a demo (imagine buying Balan Wonderworld at full price if they didn't have a demo, that'd be much closer to theft than piracy is).

There are plenty of other valid reasons too. I think the only time it is immoral is when it is available to purchase in a way that the rights holder can profit from, if you're not broke (buy it later if possible in that case), and assuming they deserve to profit.
