- "I’m going to intentionally be very vague to avoid spoilers" This gives me flashbacks of his Lunar Scythe pitch on SkullHeart forums
- "8 new options have been added to the Settings menu." If only this game had any graphics that require so many settings.
- "I have created a system for “simplified cutscenes” so that the between-rival story events don’t require 3D animations or voice acting." I will laugh my ass off if he went back to VN style cutscenes.
- "There is now a proper tutorial that walks the player through the game’s controls and getting-away-with-murder mechanics." So into the trash Life Note goes?
- "23 new music tracks have been added to the game." That's the only major change, looks like he is replacing all the music, almost like it's another mode or something...
- "I’ve also made various changes to the Demo Checklist, the game’s credits sequence, the calendar screen, Yandere-chan’s home, the stores in the street, the gameplay HUD, the student portraits, the delinquents, the student council, the teachers, and the Guidance Counselor!" Considering he's been listing "fixed typo" as change, that can mean anything.
- "In many ways, it will finally be the game that many people hoped it was going to be back in 2014/2015." I don't know what he means here. In the threads it was way less ambitious and he pitched that idea to the people, who now hate his guts. Is he that delusional?
- "I’m really proud of the work I’ve done, and I’m super eager to show it off to you! …but, it would be a lot more rewarding to unveil everything in a big dramatic reveal once it’s finished" Yep, he has fucking nothing.

TL;DR of TL;DR - really short blogpost, where he refuses to name what exactly he's done, but insists that progress is real and the build will be ready faster than he expected, he is clearly desperate to keep at least his remaining simps.

He has this autistic fear that if he dissapears for a long time, then the game will be forgotten. He is talking about it here.

He also listed this as the reason why TB ditched his ass - "refactoring of the code will leave the game without updates for months", because code refactoring doesn't count as a progress or rather, that is not something like easter egg or new hairstyle, that you can show your simps and get asspats.
This is also obvious from the first month of YS threads. After April 1st he spent almost two weeks creating daily threads, filled with fucking nothing, but /v/irgins going "oh-oh, and then this game should have this sick shit" and him nodding in response. At some point people started getting irritated and one anon suggested to make those threads every two weeks. Not that it changed much, since he basically shown them a bunch of Unity assets doing something with premade animations in the premade environments. Since then he left and he said multiple times that this schedule can't be applied to his game, since there is no more "low-hanging fruit left" just to keep following it afterwards. Something tells me, that this was as genuine as anything he does - at the dying days of YS threads he too spewed something like "Do you think these threads have run their course? Is it time to stop the tradition?", but you can tell that the meerkat bastard just wanted anons to squeel "NO, PLEASE, KEEP MAKING THOSE, WE LOVE YOU". So when he told how that schedule doesn't fit his game anymore, he actually was saying "well, I can't update a game twice a month anymore! unless you beg me to, please, beg me".

I've shown this to my friend, who is a novice programmer and he said "how the fuck he was three years into development without doing all of this?" Yes, many of those things are basically "go to" when you code anything and he had to make a deal with a publisher to realize that! His level of skill is beyond atrocious.

He is desperate. His game is synonymous with every bad practice indie scene has(except for KIckStarter fraud, but he's stolen enough without it). His Patreon is all time low and probably will go down even more when he presents "10 rivals, for real this time". His comment sections are full of mockery and if in 2018 there was one video about him as a cow, these days I tried to find a video where he asks his simps for vacation and I find 10 videos mocking him instead. He himself is reduced to spaghetti coding, cum drinking, table smashing, suicide baiting, child grooming, internet laughingstock. Check comment sections on his blog and YT channel - he jumps on every positive comment, no matter how retarded it is. Stage 3 - Bargaining.

He is dragging it further under pretense of "making it better"

Promise to work on "something really crucial, no updates till it's done", work on other shit instead - it's Osana all over again.
