MCU Television and Animation Series on Disney + - WandaVision, FATWS, Loki, etc

Well, I was wrong -- they did decide to do an 11th hour reveal of a new character as the mastermind. Which was kinda stupid. I imagine the majority of the audience were going, "Who the fuck is this?" Also, I'm hoping the goofy, quippy, unhinged characterization of him was just specific to this Variant and that the actual Kang won't act like a spastic retard. They could have still had all the Kang lore and "I'm doing this to stop a greater threat" shit while still having The One Who Remains be King Loki. You know, a mastermind that the rest of the series actually felt like it was building towards.

Haven't they already confirmed Kang's actor?

Shit another Ant Man Huh? Well what the hell, I actually kinda enjoyed KANGZ's performance and I really like Paul Rudd.

I dont know how the hell they will make fighting someone who knows everything actually interesting, but ill pay for this trashfire.

I'll be honest, I'm actually quite glad they did a race bend for a villain for once. At least it's consistent now.
And while some people are gonna obviously be upset it was just a setup for a more extensive season 2, I still liked it quite a bit as its own thing. Props to the writers. Kang being an eleventh-hour reveal was definitely what a lot of people were hoping for.
I also guarantee you somebody on the writing staff has made a HE WUZ KANG joke at some point.
Either way, consider me excited to see this tie into other stuff. Sylvie, Kid Loki, Loki, Kang, and of course Mobius and Ramona are all gonna be great characters in future stuff, I'm sure.

Hilariously enough, there is actually a version of Kang who's a Pharaoh. https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Nathaniel_Richards_(Rama-Tut)_(Earth-6311)

Well that just felt pointless. Yes Kang, the cast and the multiverse are now established but as a show to watch alone I got fucking nothing. Nu-loki is now a goody two shoes all from his love of him self and Owen Wilson's mustache despite being like a week from his most evil. He went from a cartoon villain with no value of life hell bent on ruling to a trusting sweet guy just from wanting to fuck him self. All the progress felt pointless, the show is about undoing the rules that the show set 6 weeks ago in a story that's gone on for a decade.
All the 3 tva agents that exist apparently are just slightly less smug now that there entire reality is a lie except bureaucracy bitch who's completely the same.
So far this felt the most transparent in just moving the "cinematic universe" along especially with half the interesting bit being fucking family guy cutaways.

This really pin points a problem Marvel has, it introduced so much interesting idea and world change events thaaat swiftly get forgotten so we can focus on the important guys punching.

Mainly hoping the concept and characters can get an actual story to go along with them next season . At least marvels finaly got a decent soundtrack though

First episode of What If? was surprisingly good. D'you think that was meant to be Shuma Gorath at the end there or just a standard monster?

Actually enjoyed the first What If, Steve’s armor was an obvious reference to Invincible Iron Man and I love it.

The romance ark was sweet, showed that you can have a “tough muscle chick” and not have her be a dyke.

Not showing Peggy visiting Steve’s grave was disappointing though, normal universe Steve got to make peace and say goodbye to Peggy, this Steve probably dying long before Peggy returns is a sensible choice.

All in all a fun tie-in and a decent cartoon. That’s all you can ask for, sexism was overdone but that was to be expected. Peggy has far more charisma in the face of sexism though and I kinda think that counteracts it.

Oh and I have a theory regarding these alternate universes, each has a defined protagonist…….

I’m not saying they’re doing the Chronos Corps…… but this does take place after Loki.

The first episode of What If…? is out.

I know that the 1940’s were a different time, but I think they overdid it with the sexism directed towards Peggy.
Funny how the sexism was canned to hell when she got shit done, but like some comic fag told me on Discord because is not in my range, this What if...? are not from the comics but from the MCU, good animation with 3D done right, i was expecting 40 minutes of STRONK WOMAN THAT NEED NO MAN but got oddly satisfied, weird coming from something like Disney

Apparently the sexist dude is exactly the same as is character from Agent Carter (or his variant at least). Was a bit overdone, but there's a precedent at least.

I'm tired of this shit

For all the cash they put into it I found the animation to be very hit or miss, most of the time the faces didn't seem to match the voices, I guess most of the cast didn't really have a lot of VA experience.

As far as half hour redos of First Avenger go I guess it could be worse, but this aint enough to get me hyped for Phase 4 after the last 4 shit shows
