That's a fair point, I personally don't do this but I could see people doing this if they really like this one hairstyle this hairdresser can pull off.

But yeah, no person who struggle with money is gonna do this.

I mean, I don't have an issue with people driving 30 minutes to their favourite hairdresser.
But in Dave's case everything is a little different.

When he needs to drive 30 minutes to cut his hair, getting dinner at a restaurant or at least a fast food joint is included.
I would guess he spend at least 100-150 bucks on haircuts + dinner for him and his horse.

It's not the haircut, it's not the driving 30+ minutes, it's that he bitches to high heaven about having to go that far out for literally anything else that isn't pampering himself. The doctor is 30+ minutes out? Fucking assholes. 30+ minutes to get medication? Fucking assholes. 30+ minutes to get a bog standard trim because he doesn't do anything special with his hair or even shower most days? Fucking necessary.

I hope that Supercuts hair stylist fixed up whatever the fuck his “goatee” had become. At this point Phil, just shave all of it off and go back looking like a thumb.

When you go back at look at his very old content like around 2010/2011, when he just used to have an almost bald, shaved head and minimal facial hair, if he tried to pull that look off he'd look like a saggy wrinkly blob with dark blotches being most prominent detail on his face.

I'm sure Phil would probably be insecure about looking anything like that again, so whenever he has to do any significant grooming at all, it's always going to look very similar to how he's often looked now, because he'd want to hide his balding and receding hairline as much as possible (but that patchy partially white goatee looks absolutely atrocious some days and it's strange how he tends to neglect that part of his face, I presume he may dye his hair if he wants to hide any grey hairs, so I think it's a little unusual how he would not at least attempt to dye the remainder of his facial hair as well).

Actually we know that he's a lazy slob when it comes to most things, he'd probably want someone else at the barber to do it all for him, but the one that he drives 30 minutes to probably can't, or it takes too long to fit in to his "busy" schedule and has to rush around doing other things that need more time, like you know, going out and eating at expensive restaurants or going shopping at all these malls for an entire day scouring the shops for Kat related products.

Because he has a receding hair line and is thinning pulling it up and to the middle would hide all of that.

Finally. He needs to drop the pedo goatee and just grow a full beard out. If it's gray it's gray. Who cares. He is 40. Own the salt and pepper look. It would help hide his fat disgusting face.

If he can do all of that and stop ending every sentence with "alright" "okay" or "man" then his stream might be more tolerable.

Phil is basically a dancing monkey for his streaming audience as much as he denies it because he doesn't have self respect. Why is this face so punchable? My already existing knowledge about the King of Assholes might be at play here, but something in this picture makes it utterly unfunny, like really fake and cringe.
