OneyPlays - have a boy... with friends

So out of random curiosity, I looked up the YIIK developer on Twitter, and apparently the big thing they learned between then and now is tilted camera angles.

Man, those models really aren’t built to make proper expressions, are they?
The models were a little off-putting to begin with (Chondra's always looked wrong in contrast to her character art), but zooming in on them is doing no favors. It's not even a new issue either, when you go back to the first build, the models in the cutscenes looked either silly (Alex reaching out when Sammy is taken away) or downright creepy (any time Alex's teeth are shown). In hindsight, the game using the character art for cutscenes over the in-game models was a good move on the developers part.

This fix is just gonna highlight how weird the models are if anything.

Hold on, where did you find this? I can't find it on their twitter or the subreddit.
There was a thread on /v/ and someone posted that, Google image search brought nothing so maybe it was from the twitter then deleted?

Edit: I'm brushing through the YIIK tag on twitter since google image search excludes twitter, I haven't found anything yet but I did find this, nice

Considering the fake third ending was on a secret dev account, and all the times they hinted at an actual third ending on alternate twitter accounts that were obvious dev plants, perhaps they posted it on there themselves.

Honestly if they did though, that's really pathetic.

Thread's still live too if you wanna see it for yourself, no one is even questioning where it came from so that's even funnier if it really is a dev

Perhaps they're building up to a release date announcement?

God please no, I know my dumb ass is going to end up playing through it if it has actual substantial content, and I'm not ready for playing through YIIK again.

They wish they could be half as revered as Omori was.

I actually found something interesting while scrolling through the dev's twitter feed looking for info on the I.V update and it's regarding the Eliza Lam tie in.

It seems like someone was bitching about them giving Sammy (or Semi because Allanson himself doesn't know what her fucking name is) the water element because Eliza Lam died
in a water tower and they were offended (big surprise from Twitter retards).
In response they released this message:
Capture - Copy.PNG

This is just blatant lies from Allanson:
1) Sammy is clearly a reference to Lam, the elevator footage for one, along with them directly referencing a water tower where people started complaining about foul tasting
water a week after Semi went missing.

2) How the fuck is she a figment of Alex's imagination when other character's directly reference her and they have the footage uploaded to ONISM??? The cat is clearly
real too, he just imagined an owner for it? Not to mention the robot bitch says that Sammy is one of her incarnations or whatever. "When Semi left your reality, I entered."

3) The search for Sammy has such little relevance on the actual main plot of the game; it's only there to get the ball rolling which is fine, but the universe is fated to be destroyed by
Alex because he's such an asshole, not because he took the search for Sammy too far.

4) Also lol at expecting anyone to play though this pile of garbage a second time.

I think it's perfectly acceptable to reference real life events, although the way they did it in YIIK is weird af, but statements like this just evaporate any good will
I have for the dev, which was none to begin with, but still.

There is a chance this is fanmade and used a screenshot of hoboYIIK, but I couldn't find ANYTHING on it because the original filename was a twitter filename

Who in the sea of twitter made this and what the hell is going on
Don’t you mean “WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!”
