It is insane, Game Pass exists for years and he is talking about it as if it was just launched and he is like some beta tester lolHe's really riding this Game Pass as if it's brand new and he's a special member. It's obnoxious at this point
@Dread Pirate Retard covered this, but I want to really emphasize that Phil doesn't get to claim the entirety of any of his bills (save perhaps one of his internet lines) for duh business. He can claim a fraction based on the square footage of the office. I found a percentage that was recommended (10%, maybe?) to use if you just pull all your bills together, but the main point is that his utilities don't even reach $1000. His federal taxes would account for $2000 a month (assuming a total of $25,000 / year). But that's about it. $3000 a month is a believable level of expenses. $9000 is not. Even $5000 is not, because he does not buy equipment or anything else on a regular basis.Because Phil operates his “business” out of his home, he listed miscellaneous home bills like the utility bill, the internet bill etc. and potentially his mortgage as @Fill Bern El pointed out as biz expenses. Let’s call all that $2k (it’s really less).
Yeah but he's been to Olive Garden where everyone's Italian and enjoy the food of the old country. It reminds me of the retarded Irish-Americans on the east coast that seem too connected to their heritage. 75% of their families came to the U.S. in the late 1890's or early 1900's. Can't speak up for the Irish when you're 3+ generations deep in the states.I've noticed that Phil has been playing the Italian card a lot recently. You know, the guy that has never been to Italy, doesn't speak Italian and has a surname that comes from the Anglo-Saxons.
or he could wait for like 3 fucking days and not blow all his money on wwe champions an hour after the stream.R8 me L8 but Phil confirmed yesterday that he does indeed use PayPal instant transfer (and thus pays the associated fees) rather than planning ahead and waiting 1-3 business days to get his money for free. So this is no longer a point of speculation.
However, he was sure to remind us that he doesn't do this everyday, because that would be a waste of money. Instead he waits several days and then does a larger transfer. PayPal imposes a 1% fee on instant transfers up to a maximum of $10, so he starts saving on the fee if he lets his PayPal balance go above $1000 before emptying out his account. I guess he thought this made him sound smart but he's still a retard for paying to access his own money. Does the grocery store not accept MasterCard? Because he could get a PayPal debit card and spend his balance without transferring anything.
Or he could just link his fucking PayPal account to his Apple account and pay for his sweaty man jaypegs without paying any fees but I guess two minutes on his phone when he isn’t ogling Macho Man Randy Savage is too much to ask.or he could wait for like 3 fucking days and not blow all his money on wwe champions an hour after the stream.
Oh definitely. I apologize my post wasn't clear but I was writing as if he was hypothetically asked to detail his 5k business expenses and how he would've justified it to his lawyer and then to the courts had he been asked to detail it. Almost as a get in the mind of the roach sort of thing. As far as I know, he never had to breakdown on court documents the 5k figure, he just listed it after some BS math. But ya, the $5k is a ridiculous number and I'm in no way suggesting he arrived at that legitimately.@Dread Pirate Retard covered this, but I want to really emphasize that Phil doesn't get to claim the entirety of any of his bills (save perhaps one of his internet lines) for duh business. As far as the actual publicly available documents, no, there was no breakdown of his alleged business expenses like there was for his personal expenses, which is...odd to me. Seems like that would be a necessary thing to defend the whole "I can't afford to pay my bills" narrative to the court.Oh definitely. It would have been in 1040 Schedule C as part of his tax returns which Nancy requested. But I agree, it's strange that this does not become part of the public record. As far as the actual publicly available documents, no, there was no breakdown of his alleged business expenses like there was for his personal expenses, which is...odd to me. Global plague. Everything was rubber-stamped. I doubt you'd find a single bankruptcy in that court that was denied or even challenged in the past 15 months. Even the yacht guy in the bankruptcy line before DSP that day got off didn't he?As far as the actual publicly available documents, no, there was no breakdown of his alleged business expenses like there was for his personal expenses, which is...odd to me. Yeah, that prick on the call LARPing as a debt collector thought he was so cool but fucked up majorly in his line of questioning. As far as the actual publicly available documents, no, there was no breakdown of his alleged business expenses like there was for his personal expenses, which is...odd to me. I have no doubt he onisioned the whole thing (claims everything as a deduction, wedding and all). This is why I await the audit.Yeah, that prick on the call LARPing as a debt collector thought he was so cool but fucked up majorly in his line of questioning.
When I was reviewing his bankruptcy docs, I couldn't find monthly expenses anywhere that included his CT condo mortgage/dues or his credit card payments, were they not included on the assumption of discharging or are they, like, rolled into his business expenses somehow?

So just to confirm... Those payments I had mentioned aren't listed on here anywhere, are they? I'm doing some research for the next video and want to make sure I don't screw anything up lolSchedule J of the bankruptcy petition.

Also daily reminder that under penalty of perjury Phil Burnell claimed he makes less than the median household in WA state. I can see why the trolls are so jealous of your successful business! Unless you were lying of course, but that would mean you committed bankruptcy and very likely tax fraud. You can't have it both ways.
EDIT: Also I just realized he double claimed personal care products. Line 10 and Line 21. This filing was so trash.![]()
I'm about 25 pages back but nobody really touched on this in the initial laptop discussion. That laptop probably has a better camera than the standalone cam he uses now, no chance it ever gets turned on.
in the just chatting streams when Phil goes to his computer and is writing emails to twitch n shit, he puts the facecam on full screen and a higher resolution. Going back to those is a good goldmine for face pics already.I'm about 25 pages back but nobody really touched on this in the initial laptop discussion.
The laptop has a 1080p camera. I didn't really see anyone on here or the restream point out that his new laptop camera was better than his existing one. I understand that he would never stream from the laptop but it would be funny to see him pressured by his fans.
Also if he was a better streamer he would use the laptop as a second camera. We could get 1080p snort vision! As he is sending a begging tweet we can get an up close and personal 1080p view!
Sorry I'm retarded and misread your post. Those are not included. So just to confirm... Those payments I had mentioned aren't listed on here anywhere, are they? I'm doing some research for the next video and want to make sure I don't screw anything up lol
He said he needed $61,335.88/year to 'survive' ($5,112.99 from line 23b of Schedule J x 12) which does not include all the shit he got discharged. On his bankruptcy filing Phil claimed that as a household he and Kathy net $-34/month. So in a year he and Kathy need $120,408 in income that all will get sent right back out the door just to break even.
But if you add in his CT condo fees ($1,400 iirc) and estimated credit debt minimum payments (like $2,600 iirc) that means before Phil quit paying for the CT condo and his credit debt he and Kathy needed $168,408/year or $14,034/month in income just to break even, sound good?
