alright retards, genuine opinions: regardless of what you think is going to happen, do you think it would be better for Chris to wind up in the slammer or in a psych ward?
Psych ward by default, as there's no way someone as seriously and legitimately autistic as Chris makes it out of prison in anything but a wooden box after instigating a fellow prisoner due to the 'tism.

Whatever happens now to Chris will be on the consciences of those who could have helped him.
If any of the girls who have been trolling Chris over the years had been charitable and had sex with him (it would have taken 5 minutes of their time and it would have meant the world to him) perhaps the events would have taken a very different turn.
Imagine being this retarded.

As a relative newcomer to Chris and his story? My take is the whole situation is pretty awful. Especially the way various low-life opportunists tried/are still trying to bait and take advantage of him…all so they can be popular on the internet. In spite of all that’s happened, I still feel sorry for Chris.

If nothing else? I’ve learned that Ethan Ralph is a vile excuse for a human being. Why on earth do people follow him and give him money?

It seems like almost everyone today is claiming some kind of “disability" as a shield against scrutiny or criticism. So, where do we draw the line? Should actual retards be exempt from our curiosity or is everyone fair game?

"Your honor, i was presented the recordings of the conversation that supposedly incriminated my client, Mrs. Christine Weston Chandler. However i would like to point that in no manner does that audio leak mean that my client is a criminal. Barbara Chandler clearly consented, she saying no shouldn't be read as an evidence of rape. My girlfriend Maya tells me no multiple times every time we are in bed, and i am not a rapist."

"Also we must bring the possibility of my client MISS Christine Weston Chandler being forced to say the contents of the video, which makes me want to call to the cour..."

"Oh no no no, you are wrong Phoenix, HE had sex with his mother, HE even admitted it while in private conversation with no one forcing HIM to say it. HE is not a woman and will never be one, HE is only a delusional autistic MAN who had sex with HIS mother, and incest is a crime. Rape would make HIS stay in prison longer, HE is going to prison and the inmates will probably have something to say to his medal-swallowing asshole".

Legally insane, maybe not, but given the sheer delusion he's been mired in for the last 3-4 years I don't see how clinical insanity can be completely taken off the table.

Either way, I think "Sonichu" or "Dimensional Merge" or something like that being recorded in the court record is a pretty safe bet. What I was hoping for was that this would fall under that vague statute wording that some people thought would lead to this case going to the Supreme Court or something, but obviously that was always way too crazy to hope for.

I don't know, guess my bet's on national coverage of the trial. He's already getting the most media coverage he's ever gotten.
I work in mental health and deal with a lot of mentally disordered offenders, including people with autism charged with sex crimes, etc. At least here in the UK, the threshold to be deemed not responsible by reason of insanity is actually very high. In the UK it's actually a very rare defence and only works if you're a floridly schizophrenic nutter. Just being a raging autist most likely wouldn't be enough for Chris to be considered to be lacking mens rea (criminal intent), especially in a case as extreme as incest involving demented Barb. I am sure Chris' lawyer will try to argue that his lack of social communication and empathy together with his delusional beliefs meant he couldn't form intent but I don't think that would be enough, at least if it was here in the UK. I have no idea about US laws or incest charges though so it might be a completely different ball game over there.

Edit: Also, a defendant can hold a lot of delusional beliefs and still be found fit to plead and stand trial, that wouldn't necessarily disqualify Chris from being tried and found guilty. You can believe lots of barmy things and still be deemed to be able to tell right from wrong. Again, it's a pretty high threshold.

the way I rationalize it is by feeling sorry for Chris as a child. she was failed by her parents and the state. however nothing constitutes doing something as abhorrent as raping your defenseless mother. the current Chris is a monster and i feel no sympathy for her.

Everyone on the Internet will find out that Gunt has a weird fag vendetta against Josh because of his screeching in the video. lmfao :gunt:
In time
"I really didn't want to make this video"

Oh yes you did Hambly. Gotta get them views somehow.
he is a cash whore
Another cow crossover and I expected him to do it at some point. Hambeast does anything to be relevant This neckbeard is why I finally made an account and stopped lurking in the first place.
it just got more tense

Other people who (at least claim to) have legal backgrounds in the US have said pretty much the same thing.

Yeah, the high bar for an insanity defense is why I said that he might not be considered "legally insane". But given his complete and total belief in the Merge, thinking that he's being possessed by his own fictional creations, and general detachment from reality, I'm hard-pressed to say that he's not insane by some definition, probably clinical. Maybe won't work as a defense, but Chris is not sane.
