How is this thread making me sympathize with TERFs. Yeah, Chris has always existed in a middle ground. Look at him one way, and you wonder how this clearly insane, nearly childlike village idiot even functions at all, look at him another way and he’s a perfectly literate, college graduate with a valid drivers license, credit cards and is perfectly capable of multi-day interstate road trips.

Well, on the same topic of TCAP that I mentioned earlier, just because someone seems retarded to normal people doesn't preclude them from being competent in other capacities. It actually makes them particularly dangerous to more vulnerable people, such as children, elderly, or people with worse mental conditions, since their retardation impairs their morals and puts them on a pleasure-seeking path that disregards the consequences. A lot of the TCAP dudes were comically idiotic in things that they said or did but nonetheless showed a pretty chilling degree of cunning at times in their discussions with who they believed were teens (often as young as 12 even).
