Chris has been arrested

He shouldn't be put in a men's prison, but he shouldn't be put in a women's prison either. It's not going to be the lesbian paradise that he thinks it'll be.

They're going to have to make special accommodations for him, because he's nothing like they've ever seen. I promise. I guaruntee you, at least one of the cops will anonymously leak details.
Don't reply three times in a row, use the Quote button to add multiple sources to the same reply. It's ugly and retarded looking.

You have a constitutional right to represent yourself (the Faretta right), although the judge will often appoint "standby counsel" if you realize how utterly stupid that is to do. You can do this even if you're literally nuts like the Long Island Railroad shooter. Unless you are actually held incompetent to stand trial at all, you are (generally) presumed to be able to make informed choices about your own legal representation.a

There are few exceptions to this and generally include extreme disruption of the proceedings or repeatedly abusing the right by continually firing your lawyers and delaying the proceedings, or by being mentally incompetent, which would probably be the sole relevant reason for denying the right in this case unless he starts throwing autistic tantrums in court. The fact that he is literally on disability for mental reasons is at least somewhat probative, and enough for the court at least to look into it, but generally the bar is low, as witness the LIRR shooter, Colin Ferguson.

Naturally it's a really bad idea to do this because it is ridiculously awkward to be cross examining witness after witness who personally witnessed you committing the crime(s), like Colin Ferguson. The witnesses were actually getting pissed with him, basically saying "Yes I saw YOU SHOOT THOSE PEOPLE YOU SON OF A BITCH" (not from the actual transcript).

You're also fighting against someone who does this shit every day, and you probably don't know the stylized formal combat that is cross examination. A skilled prosecutor will break up your flow by throwing around objections, especially if you don't actually know the rules well enough to respond to an objection or evidentiary argument on the fly.
Just curious, what's the cutoff for being too "incompetent" to stand trial? If some nutjob who killed people can do it, can they let Chris? I wouldn't put it past Chris not to even get the free state lawyers.

Could he lose his tugboat because of all of this too? I know they suspend it when a person is thrown in the slammer but I don't know how they go about things once they're released.

"The Hole". Tell us about if Chris gets sent to "The Hole".
No. Not as a default option, 100%.

Is there a world in which he may end up in true solitary? Sure. He would have to royally and repeatedly fuck up, for example by being violent against the guards or medical staff. He would be unlikely to spend any lengthy period of time there - most likely it would treated as a holding cell until proper accommodations are prepared for him to be sedated and returned to where he is supposed to be. Even then, the decision is difficult for administration to make given Chris's background, the eyes on him, and the publicity that may follow. In general, people who have mental and medical ailments are not thrown in the hole. There is adequate legislation (one of them being Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act) that protects disabled people in prison to, in some ways, a greater extent than regular prisoners. This in turn opens the door for very problematic and costly legal proceedings for the prison system that is found potentially abusing disabled prisoners. This could in theory apply to Chris, though autism seems to be in somewhat of a gray area due to the fact that it is a spectrum and it's hard to say exactly where Chris would land on that in the eyes of the court. This is before even considering the whole gender issue and the publicity that has already brought to the case.

Overall, he is more likely to be sedated and kept in medical than anything else.

UPDATE on chris chans pre - trial

* looks like my assumption is on point, as he is already acting the fool according to this statement and this guys commentary...

If real, it's finally starting to sink in for Chris. Jesus Christ. Totally unsurprising but I didn't expect to hear such specific details already. Thanks for the share.

yes, if you get arrested and put in prison or jail you usually loose any ssi or such, if you've been locked up or in a facility past a certain length of time. since being in jail / prison counts as being in state care that provides room and board ( food, health care even if very minimal baseline level ) that is covered by other sources, so, unless they have changed it, when, and if he gets out, hew ill have to re apply for ssi and go through the process to get it reinstated , now i could be wrong, if they changed anything on that; but thats how it used to be, and good luck qualifying for any form of subsidized rentals or section 8 aka : the homeless saga will likely be soon following the prison saga lol

sure thing, no problem. but i doubt he will ever wake up, as you can see, even during the pre trial proceedings, he was acting out some what and being a hassle in general, so, yeeeaah, i cant wait tilt he actual trial, it is going to be a wacky roller coaster of behavior and out-burts most likely

Chris-chan appeared in Life Site News.

In context, Life Site News is a Catholic hardcore pro-life website, though they have broader focus on Catholicism and the family, writing agains tuf from pornography to BGLT+. Having Chris-chan appear there means tha the news regarding his arrest has to be YUUUUGE.
Of course, they get some things wrong about him.

All he would have understood was he couldn't go home until the 5th of august.
Do you think he had no awareness of a risk that things could get worse? I wonder if he thought the authorities were like Twitter MLP fans and would just dismiss any dang troll rumors, and then he could go back home.

Wonder what the inevitable fate of his third medallion he's always been wearing is going to be. I presume it will just be confiscated along with any other items that aren't deemed permitted whilst in jail. But I could imagine giving a tard special privileges that have an item with some emotional attachment would be appropriate, and that medallion would probably be one of the only things he'll have in there, like a unique special dog tag, tied together for the rest of his miserable existence.

I really hope they just chuck it in the trash, symbolising just how utterly worthless it is and what it means to Chris, just a stupid distraction.
