Again, Ralph can have a lawyer attend for him, he doesn't have to be there in person. Him not showing up just shows how much he cares about actually seeing his son in person, and shows how again he's a liar (he said he'd be there in person, remember), but that doesn't in and of itself mean he forfeits the case unless literally no one shows up.
There's also the possibility he doesn't feel the need to go because Faith is still in contact with him, which wouldn't be a violation of the order as she contacted him first.

The funniest part is how proud he is of himself that he got 4 extra days, tweeting "mind games" as if this was some sort of big brained move that no one would have thought of and no one could see coming. I know fuck all about law but I can imagine that a guy who keeps asking for continuances and eventually doesn't show up or (if a lawyer does show) he doesn't have any type of defense against the claims that are presented is not gonna be favored by the judge.
