Tenma being genuinely concerned during Pippa's stream kinda messed me up. Is this what empathy feels like, or do I just really really respect Tenma?

100% sure it's just Tenma.
I've been watching Tenma's streams and she really is a kind hearted person. Even her twitter is wholesome.

Absolutely agree. She's damn good at playing up the loud hyper parts of her, but she when she's in a calm or thoughtful moment she really is down to earth about it as well. I caught up watching her stream of Presentable Liberty and it was interesting because she made fun of a lot of things and goofed off, but had a lot of cute and feely moments too. After the credits were done, she hung around and talked with chat a bit about things. I presume someone in chat told her the guy who created the game died, and at the end of her stream before fully ending it she put up a black screen for a short moment with a little message of thanks to the creator for the experience.

I'd like to quickly pitch into this discussion to top it off. This post probably sounds super simp-like, but I don't know how else to say it.

Yuni, it's rare for someone to be this universally loved on this site. Even those people here who don't really watch you still at least respect you. Hell, practically half of the active users in this thread literally have you in their profile pictures now. You've basically taken this thread by storm, and everyone likes you.

The overwhelming consensus here is that we enjoy what you do, and we don't want anything bad to happen. We also respect you and your wishes enough here that we aren't going to go out of our way to do something that you tell us not to. You've earned that courtesy. And even if that dox fuck-up from last stream gets posted here, none of us are going to pursue it. We know as much as we reasonably need to about you and your situation, and we're all pretty much in mutual agreement that we don't really need to dig any deeper than we already have.

Look at the stickers on this post.
Regarding any further 'doxing' of Yuni, I would just like to say that at least on my end, I feel like I'm finished doing those big autistic effortposts about her. We now have all of the information that we would reasonably want to know, and at least to me, there isn't really a compelling reason to dive even further into her shit. At this point, I couldn't care less about what she looks like or whatever else.

And this post.
Here's my personal opinion regarding the dox debate: VTubers ≠ lolcows. The majority of VTubers we talk about here don't deserve to receive a full dox like a lolcow would.

The term lolcow is generally used to describe someone who can be 'milked for laughs' thanks to their eccentric qualities, with most of them being retarded & horrible people who are extremely gullible & insufferably dysfunctional. This is important, as people on this site tend to only do full doxes on people who deserve them - which, by definition, pretty much means lolcows.

The general rule is to only dox those who are directly deserving of it, and not innocent people who aren't directly affiliated with a lolcow's affairs.
If they aren't directly affiliated with a lolcow or aren't one themselves, then why bother?

Let's compare these rules to the average VTuber. I'll use Yuni as an example here, since we've been talking about her a lot recently. Let's see:
  • Can she be milked for laughs?
  • Is she a genuinely horrible person?
  • Is she a genuinely insufferable & dysfunctional retard?
  • Is she extremely gullible and responds horribly to trolls?
  • Does she have unironic, genuine sperg-outs constantly?
The answer to all of these is a resounding no. In fact, she's literally the complete opposite of pretty much all of these things. The same thing goes for pretty much every VTuber we talk about here. When we watch VTubers, we don't laugh at them, we laugh with them. From what we know, they are pretty much all good people, and most of them also know what their appeal is. They are not lolcows.

So, because of this, I personally don't really have any desire to dig past semi-entry-level information regarding chuubas. None of them fit the definition of a lolcow, and so I don't really feel like they deserve to have their phone numbers, addresses, etc. posted here for everyone to see. There's a reason it's only done for lolcows - there's a certain level of shame involved in having those kinds of details about you leaked for everyone on the Internet to see in one place.

Of course, stories & other types of information that helps give insight into what the person behind the avatar is actually like is fair game. My personal boundary is just when it starts to get too specific. I don't really want/need to know what animal shelter Gura volunteered at once, for example.

As I said earlier,
If they aren't directly affiliated with a lolcow or aren't one themselves, then why bother? Most VTubers are just normal girls using an anime avatar instead of their face. A certain level of curiosity is obviously reasonable, but there's a certain limit - at least to me.

Basically,
-We like and respect you a lot. You are not a lolcow, and you will not be treated as one.
-We respect your wishes.
-We don't want anything bad to happen to you or anyone you're associated with.
-The majority of us are not interested in 'doxing' you any further, and will not do so even if the Twitch fuck-up is eventually posted here.
-We all wish you the best, and we don't have any interest in finding personal information or harming you in any way whatsoever.
-We also don't care what you may or may not look like.

I hope this makes you feel better. Nothing bad is going to happen.

She also cried for about three minutes on finishing Gris.

I'm really loving the fox more and more.

edit:

gotta post the OG as well with this banger

This thread is getting too positive for me, I'm not sure if I'm even on Kiwifarms anymore. I'm going to screenshot the last three tweets on Artemis' account and post them.

I'll fully admit to not being super aware of people not talked about often in this thread, and I know this person is mentioned on and off as basically having no impact or personality.
It didn't hit me for a moment that I thought this was that crazy super political Futawhatserface chuuba before registering it was not, and I'm legitimately unsure if I should be impressed that this person is that forgettable.

I'm constantly impressed by this. But after not seeing anything from this one in a while, I am almost tacken aback by how flanderized their personality has become. That last tweet sounds like a mocking characterization we would have posted when Artemis was all the rage. Really is a shame that this is all you get and for some that is all they want.

Edit: I will add that I am at least happy that they have backed off from the blatant clout chasing of the past. . . that just wasn't respectable at all.
