Taliban offensive of 2021 and collapse of Afghan government.

The Confederacy faced far better odds, and the Union still conquered them.

Keep thumping your chest, tough guy.
What the fuck are you going up about? I never talked about being at good odds?
It was all about being willing to stand up for your own people. At least Finnish people weren't annexed like the confederates? Looks like we made it better with worse odds.

What did you do in the war?

This absolute piece of shit....

Biden and Milley misled about the Afghan army numbers (Archive)
The Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction released a report on July 31 which noted that, as of the end of April, 300,699 Afghan National Defense and Security Forces personnel were enrolled in the Afghan Personnel and Pay System but only 182,071 of them were Afghan National Army members, including Afghan Air Force, while 118,628 were actually part of the Afghan National Police, which reported to the Interior Ministry instead of defense.

Moreover, the watchdog emphasized, “ANDSF personnel strength reported for this quarter does not reflect the loss of personnel to casualties, surrender, capture, or fleeing to other countries that occurred during the Taliban offensive from May through July.”

Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, also got the size of the ANDSF wrong during Senate testimony on June 17, claiming that “right now, the government of Afghanistan is holding and they have approximately about 325,000 to 350,000 person security force — army and police force.”

A feudal tribal confederation with the King in Kabul and a the warlords given fancy titles like Emir and nominal loyalty to the crown would have done much better then some kleptocractic "democracy" run by corrupt bankers and college professors.
One of the points brought up in the Afghan papers showed numerous people who were involved in the war realizing that attempting to introduce democracy to people literally 400 years behind the west in moral and legal evolution lead to the US backed government being extremely weak outside the major urban zones.
Can't remember if it was in the Afghan papers or I read it somewhere else, a number of the tribal factions in Afghanistan are still monarchists and many joined the Taliban because they didn't recognize the legitimacy of the US backed or previous government.

But why did the Biden administration drag their feet way past the May 1st deadline?
It surely hasn't worked out well for them politically, seeing how the world is mocking them and even their lapdog media is starting to low-key criticize them over this.

Here are some theories that I've seen on social media or come up with myself:
  • Theory 1: TDS. Leaving by May 1st was Trump's plan, so they just had to miss that deadline out of spite.
Theory 4: Vanity. Biden wanted the conclusion of the evacuation to coincide with the anniversary of 9/11 so that he could hold a schmaltzy speech along the lines of "Bush started this; I ended it!" and be celebrated by his lapdog media as the second-greatest president ever (after Black Jesus).
These two points are basically the same thing.
Biden Admin wanted all the credit for ending the war, and they got their wish.

Theory 2: Forever war aspirations. They were biding their time and hoping that their glowniggers could pull off some fuckery that would make it politically viable to cancel the troop evacuation and stay in Afghanistan for another 20 years. But somehow that failed.
That's what happened when Trump originally made the deal with the Taliban, all the establishment Dems and NeoCons got together in Congress and defunded his original pullout plan, leading to the May 1st date.

Theory 3: Incompetence. They failed to listen to the people in the military who could have told them that the Afghan government & army was a joke, and thus really got caught by surprise by the Taliban's fast takeover.
Another point of the Afghan papers, scores of bureaucrats and military leadership admitting the presidental admins had no fucking clue what they were doing there, who their enemies and allies were in the country, literally the only thing they had other than dropping bombs was bribing people, and many would betray the US anyway after taking the shekels.

anybody looking at https://afghanistan.liveuamap.com/en/time/06.08.2021 a week before any of this happened

would of told you that Kabul was gonna fall after a week . This is a sitrep from 8/6

Literally open source and free.
Right, by Monday 9 August anyone with a half a brain knew it was game over. A family member deployed in Asia told me suddenly command is worried about readiness and is frantically touring and demanding sitreps, ect. Too little too late imo

Also I want to neck anyone saying shit like "deconflict". ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKER, SPEAK IT

I am 100% positive the person responsible for briefing Biden on the situation doesn't know about sites like that and probably is gathering intel from Afghan TV or some other outdated method.

Idiots. All of them

PRC has long been an ally of Pakistan, so sensible and expected.

PRC and Pakis are currently on the outs. Pakistan has a squadron of F-16s they can only deploy against the chinks.

Arent you niggers exporting oil now thanks to fracking?

small point of order, until Biden fucked us the US was a net exporter of Petroleum products (i.e. gas, diesel, plastics) which means there was still foreign oil coming in, but the finished products going out were greater than that.

Pretty sure women in their government was part of the problem. I mean, look at all the fucking pussies that just bent over when push came to shove.
Which is funny given how middle eastern chicks fucking despise pussies it's just they don't want kiddie fuckers to be their husband also not to mention hate fags

If only Hazar rambo would go and single-handedly defeat the Taliban.

Edit: The more I think about this the gayer you are, telling someone to take a plane ticket and go die is retarded armchair heroics.
That's just fucking strawman of the century, no-one is asking one man to take on the Taliban all by yourself, just looking for your own family's safety. For example, just having one more man in the house in under Islamic law gives much more oppurtunities to defend your family.

Are you a troll or something? I never referred to the ANA, just some guy being "afraid for his family"?
Also, biden saw fit to call the losers cowards.
A) Of course I'm a troll. I don't see why you gotta bring race into it.

b) So how many guys afraid for their families need to impale themselves on Taliban bayonets before they deserve any sympathy?

C) Never go full Joe.

Alright then what is he going to do if the Taliban come knocking, what are you implying here, because "defending" implies fighting in this case.
Stop telling people to go to Afghanistan, it's annoying and unproductive.
