Right, a few things:
1: Life is NOT stable. Prices are increasing, there's a rent clusterfuck approaching, the country is deeply riven by division. The normies are noticing things are getting more expensive.
2: Media does not distract as well as you think. Circuses only work to lull the populace into a sense of security. Anything which makes them Take Notice pops that, and as a preventative circus can do jack and shit to STOP a problem.
3: Apathy is what prevents people from Taking Notice, it again is a preventative not a cure.
4: Come on, we have covered this you and I. The Flag Wavers voted Trump and already hate Biden. They are not going to suddenly forgive a massive clusterfuck any more than Labour would forgive Tories on the queens birthday.
5: Kamala is hated by the other three factions in the cabal... and those factions are the ones the media is loyal to.
6: Dems already blew their load. They blew every load they had.
7: You describe people of every day and age. And just like every age before us, if those people are roused from their pleasant obliviousness they get pissed and -stay- pissed until whatever roused them dies.
Again, not picking you apart, I'm just going to place my 'lack-of-faith-in-humanity' tracing paper over your experience and draw some lines, listed for ease, not reddit arrogance.
1. Inflation is going up, and here's why that's a good thing. "Here's why that's a good thing" is a meme for a reason
2. January 6th, 2 (3?) impeachments, russian piss tapes, grab em by the pussy, Hillary Emails, Podesta is a pedo, hunters laptop, foreign policy ignored during the debates, soft-ball questions to Biden...
3. Fair enough
4. You're right, we've done that bit.
5. The enemy of my enemy must be my friend. Does Joe have more enemies than Kamala has friends
6. I don't believe they have, but i AM a conspiracy theorist retard, and would not put a false-flag (at worst) or over-highlighting a natural problem (at best) to recharge their balls, ready to blow more loads.
7. I can't think of a time in my life time that this has occurred in the west, physically or metaphorically. The closest example would be Saville as a scapegoat? Maybe?
No, Fox news will not carry Biden's water for him. And two, who honestly cares about terrorism (at least for the time being)? There hasn't been a major terrorist attack around the globe in quite some time never mind in the United States. Everyone is fixated on COVID.
Not to play devils advocate, but im totally going to play devils advocate. Fox news??!?! those alt-right Trump supporters?
As for your previous arguments regarding what essentially the people will do regarding the current administration, I don't agree that people will just do nothing at least in the long run. For the time being there's going to be a lot of foot dragging sure, but I can't see this situation simply vanishing into thin air as if nothing happened not unless both Republicans and our supposed foreign allies want this to disappear. The only actual question is, will this be damning enough for people to not support the Left in 2022. I say yes though for additional reasons.
The left won't be supported in 2022 no matter what, that isn't the long-term or big picture game. 2022 goes to repubs, repubs win in 2024, dems win in 2028, ready to roll out the great reset. I honestly believe this.
The administration doesn't have a monopoly on information, I think that's what you are fundamentally not grasping. Only ~28% of the U.S. trusts the media, and that is -overwhelmingly- Democrats. And not just Democrats, but the hardened core of democrats.
Only 28% of America trust the media, according to the media? I won't disagree though, you're closer to the numbers than I am.
That leaves ~70% who don't give two fucks about the media. That is a LOT of the center who is not getting their news just out of the headlines. Instead, it's filtered to them through other people. And unlike the hardened core of either side, they aren't going to just reject one side of the narrative. Normally, they just ignore both sides, but when their attention is gained they instead listen to both and usually gravitate towards whichever one pisses them off the most because that's the side presented to them most fervently.
So let me set the exact order of events that occurs here. The Biden Admin hits the 31st and fully pulls out. He claims everyone who wanted out is out, nobody left, a perfect job. Then, inevitably because this is a giant clusterfuck, people who aren't complete fucking NPCs find out this isn't true. They mention it, begin to spread it among their circles. Aaaand right there done. Because word-of-mouth is how 70% of people get their trusted news. And since they were already Interested, that is going to spread like -wildfire-.
I would give this a rainbow, but I'm a pessimist so a rainbow may be a little too much. You have a lot of faith in the people, and that's good and I hope that faith pays off, for both of us. I just can't get on board the idea that the same braindead wingnuts who have believe some right old horse shit, would now not believe in blatant horse-shit. Again, COVID, how many times did we see "X isn't going to happen, it's a conspiracy theory" only for X to happen? And every time, and even now, people are believing the same old horse shit. Maybe politically motivated people are more open-minded?
Good fucking luck convincing every single center person that it's a "Qanon, Trump supporting, Alt-right Nazi, Anti-vaxx conspiracy [theory]" when it's already wild in the population. That kind of mind terminating bullshit only works when the populace doesn't care. We crossed that bridge already, they care.
You're closer to the ground than I am on this topic and a lot more experienced/knowledgeable in general. I'll wait in anticipation to see what happens.
