Yes, even with extended the withdrawal by months, this last minute shitfest where Biden was on vacation when the Taliban took control is what we ended up with. Biden ignored warnings that the situation would collapse and made no effort to prevent this situation. If he would've kept to his original time tables and have us out in May, if pulling out in May would've prevented this situation at all, how he would've reacted to information that the situation would become dire.

It’s the problem with a totally civilian run military. In order to succeed, generals must become politicians. 150 years ago it was the exact opposite and that’s why the military could function.
