That's really interesting and the video, so far, is good. It takes a couple of minutes to get off the ground but it starts to unravel some real fuckery. It's about turning old games into a crypto currency of sorts, wildly inflating their prices.

The restock PS5's have different model numbers than the launch ones because they altered the internal guts a bit. CFI-1102A is the new number.
There's no performance differences, but even the store held restocks that limited everything 1 per customer sold out.

One of these days I’ll just buy the first two Yakuza games for the PS2 on eBay even though I can just get an emulator and install it on there.

Isn't 1 notorious for how janky it feels though I have read that 2 is less janky also a question for anyone is system shock 1 controls shit or not since I have been considering playing ss1

The Enhanced Edition is fine. If you plan on playing the original for whatever reason you'll want some fan patches to make it more tolerable. Watch the beginning of Mandalore's SS1 video to learn more.

I’ve been trying to find games to play, with older consoles, particularly hand helds. I don’t have the money for anything newer then my 3DS, the oldest one, that I bought back in 2013. And recently, I’ve been invested in one series that has fascinated me, and in particular, it goes by the name Shin Megami Tensei IV, or for us Americans, True Goddess Rebirth 4.
I have been playing it for some time and finished it recently, and it‘s genuinely now one of my favorite games ever, and the best rpg I’ve ever played. It’s 20 dollars digital and up to 120 physical from scalpers and other fun killing goblins, a scarce item for whatever reason.
So, what makes SMT IV in particular so fascinating to me? Well, in particular, the combat system and the morality system. Although it’s a 3D open world with 2D graphics and battle screens, the combat feels responsive and alive. For most RPGs like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Phantasy Star, it often feels like I’m watching small cutscenes play out when I click an attack, and that disconnect between action and response drives away a lot of people who aren’t into RPGs (especially jrpgs with their convoluted bullshit stories) and those who aren’t into it even farther.
But the battle system is unique, yet uncomplicted. It’s dubbed by the community the Press-Advantage-Turn System, or PATs. Like Pokémon, there are certain elements and weapon types that will deal more damage to specific monsters, demons, divine beings and gangsters you come across, however, here’s the neat catch- you get extra turns for each advantageous attack that occurs, noted by the icon that would have disappeared upon attack being used, glowing instead- a type of second wind the game encourages you abuse the shit out of like a Minecraft Youtuber when he visits his local playground.
You can have 4 party members at once in a battle, and if you play their cards right, you could pull off 8 turns of super effective damage, which releases into my autistic hyper focused chimpanzee retard brain an immense ammount of dopamine. My choices not only can completely change a battle, I finally am apart of the battle. Those small changes to an otherwise unremarkable system feels great, and now, I can never go back.
Now what about the story? The story is. Weird. Like really fucking weird. Like you’re a poorfag from the hicks of europe, except Europe is controlled by the Japanese Catholics who every year choose Samurai using a Hi-Tech Nintendo Power Glove that, despite it being Japanese, and the residents being Japanese too, they can’t fucking read it, and think it’s the language of their divine ancestors. It also turns out that God, Satan, and every figure across every mythology is real, refereed to under the umbrella term as Demons, with their own unique sub-classes, such as angels being “Divine”, and some like weird masked birds who speak in Haikus named Tengu referred to as “Yokai.” Your goal as a Samurai of the church is to cleanse and save the world, leading to in the first 6 hours of the game an insane plot twist which made me double take.
Eastern Kingdom of Mikado, the initial setting for this fuck fest.
Everything in this world feels like someone drank a fifth of vodka, slurped up bleach from the counter to end their miserable existence, and shot up DMT in the back of the church and wrote down what he saw in his near death inducing trip. The designs reflect that too, being really a convoluted mess, and honestly really cool once you get to it, a favorite of mine being the minotaur.
And, as a plus, the soundtrack fucks like a 30 year old wine mom white woman in a horse ranch with no one around to catch her in the act. They made heavy rock synth using a fucking church bell, and it goes crazy.
I can’t go into much more detail without spoiling it but if using Jack Frost, Thor, Lucifer and (supposedly) a Giant Green Penis on a Cart to murder a headless horsemen in the graveyard of a post-capitalist post Nuclear Holocaust Tokyo while pumped up on several magic spells appeals to your inner autist, this is the game for you. If you want more details, I can go on.

Also wanted to recommend Armored Commander II- it's a roguelike where you command a tank. Satisfying game.
